SightseeingPosted Nov 15, 2015
Pros: We liked how everything we needed was right there. There are plenty of options for dining and having drinks either outdoors or indoors.
Location: Nile Maxim Dinner Cruise, The museum are closest. Traffic can be a factor so distances are not great, but traffic can make it feel very far.
We booked all our tours through the Guest Relations desk and we were very pleased with the flexibility and ease. We had a sick child while we were there and the executive club was very accommodating giving us tea and soda crackers to take to her room while she was under the weather. The executive club was very nice and well-stocked. We used it for many things while we were there. We ordered room service up there, we used internet and hung out on the couches for some downtime. We had snacks and drinks as well. The staff were very helpful and kind. We used the Business office to send a package DHL and they were very helpful getting our documents out in a timely manner.

Historical hotel nice Nile viewPosted Nov 2, 2015
Personnel are friendly, hotel setting in a historical context of the old palace has its appeal, room Nile view is beautiful. Facilities and interiors weren't renovated still holds the same touches when the hotel opened needs new fitting out. Parking within the hotel is expensive for a hotel resident it should be for free.

Best hotel in central Cairo!Posted Oct 27, 2015
Really enjoyed my stay at the Cairo Marriott, as always - it's a gem in the midst of modern Cairo, a true oasis! Highly recommended for the elegant traveler.

an ok hotelPosted Oct 20, 2015
Location: zamalek is a nice area with lots of good restaurants around
I am a frequent traveler to Cairo, I would go there around 6 times a year minimum for pleasure and business, by far this was the worst experience, although I have to be fair to the front desk staff that were really helpful and nice, but the others were not , they were actually crocked and not friendly, what I have felt is that they wanted to take an advantage of you in the moment because they were pushing you to not visit the hotel again. I had an indecent in the hotel hair saloon (he is renting the shop from the hotel), the owner will charge for things not even listed in the pricing list published , and when I have confronted him, he said I don't want your money as I would cut it from the employee pay check ( the employees get paid less than 200 US dollars a month ????), the owner was so rude and a crock , and I really felt sorry for his employees as they were treated as slaves, I have actually paid and went to file an official complain, the hotel have explained that he is only renting from them and they cant do anything about it. this experience have left a big impact on my time in Cairo as I have felt taking an advantage of and most important that the young people and Egyptian workers that are trying to make it in tough life are being treated as slaves

In one of the heavily congested areas in cairo.Posted Oct 15, 2015
Needs immediate renovation, staff are friendly but somewhat not professional especially in rooms division and house keeping.
