Pros: The design of the hotel is very nice with many staff that are very helpful. the best breakfast that I have had in as many hotels that I have visited.
Cons: Dirty streets around the hotel.
Location: very good location.r
hotel by itself is very nice but unfortunately surrounded immediately by several dirty street. The people running the conceiage department specially Mr.Sammy and his staff are very helpful..

Location is close to down town which is a blessing and a curse, noisy and the surrounding is dirty

Center of downtown is a great advantage.

Pros: Breakfast spread
Cons: Internet connection reliability
Location: Centrally located. The Egyptian Museum is close by. Tower of Egypt is also close by. The pyramids is 30 mins away by Taxi.
Great hotel. the breakfast spread is amazing. Internet is not very reliable. Can be improved.

Central location, good security, excellent staff.

When I first walked in, I was very pleased with the security of the hotel. Everyone entering had to go through a metal detector and all bags had to be x-rayed. While I never felt unsafe in Cairo, it did look like a war zone and so it was nice to know that they were going the extra mile to protect their guests. We got there super early and while they didn't have a room available right that second, the staff worked hard to get one ready ASAP and we were in our room about 2 hours later. The floor manager introduced himself to us right away and made sure the room was to our liking and brought us water for the room (don't drink tap water in Egypt!!). The location was perfect! Just a short walk to the Egyptian Museum (although, I wouldn't recommend walking in Cairo due to traffic. Use Uber! Its fantastic!) and the pyramids were a fairly easy drive. We didn't really have much time to sit and eat at their restaurants, but their room service and coffee cart were really quite good. The outside of the building looks a little rundown, and can make you think twice about this place but once you walk inside it really was a great place to stay.

Old hotel

Old, dirty hotel with aggressive staff always asking for tips. Property needs major work. Hilton should really be ashamed of this place. Hallways and even non-smoking rooms reak of smoke. Exercise machines in workout room do not function.

Anything but a Hilton

Pros: Location
Sorry excuse of a hotel, leave alone one that carries the Hilton name. Staff were ignorant of the hotel facilities and services. Took forever (over 30 minutes) to check in even though I am a HH member. Was promised a room over looking the Nile but the receptionist clearly did not know the room layouts and I got a room on the opposite side. The room was in relatively poor shape, the bathroom old and the tub stained brown. The lobby and rooms are rather dated - there seems to be some renovations ongoing on the top floors and perhaps the hotel will be updated in the next few years. However, I would stay away from this hotel for now. Not a very comfortable atmosphere either with the type of clientele in the lobby (and I have stayed at hotels all over the world) or the security at the front door.
