Nice boutique hotel with friendly staff

Posted Aug 24, 2016
I have enjoyed my stay there for a business trip as I was going on the set of a photoshoot at Malibu Creek Park and Paramount Park which are not far from there and they are magnificent places to visit. Also the hotel is very convenient as it has a small pool and a coffee bistro and bar . if u want more dining options there is nice restaurants right next door , beauty and nail salon and a few clothing boutiques. And one of the oldest LA house which is amuse to bust , The Adobe house and learn some part of Los Angeles history . I have enjoyed my stay.

Decent Hotel

Posted Aug 22, 2016
The hotel was much better before the new owners and renovations. But it's decent. I don't like that they charge $12 for parking ( per car) Ridiculous. I stay in the area often and no other hotels charge for parking. When I was checking in some man was yelling that they took $2000 out of his girlfriends bank account by mistake and in the four days it took to redeposit it checks had bounced and he wanted them to pay, and they actually stood there justifying it. Then refused to do anything to rectify the situation. So in the next week I'm going to be watching my credit card!!!!!!

Hotel was clean and comfortable. My only issue was how the traffic made traveling to different places difficult, but the hotel was pretty much perfect.

Very nice suburban LA motel

Posted Aug 18, 2016
Cons: My Expedia gold status was not recognized and I did not receive a welcome reward.
The lobby bar and cafe were quiet and pleasant with excellent service. The room was large, comfortable and up-to date. We did not have a chance to enjoy the other amenities, but they also seemed nice. The hotel is also located near old town Calabasas.

Nice and affordable.

Posted Aug 6, 2016
Let me start off by saying the hotel itself was nice, the beds were comfortable, the room was a bigger size than I expected. Everything was within walking distance. This being said because of how we were "greeted" in quotes because we stood by checkout 2 minutes and had the lady look up and only ask "are you checking in?" No good afternoon, how are you, I understand at 7pm your energy isn't where it is supposed to be perhaps. She was very dry, didn't talk at all and left us standing there. We asked for a bellman and he was very serious as if he didn't want to be there. He didn't talk at all even when we asked him questions. He wasn't much help when we were going up to our room. I told him the room number and he shrugged his shoulders and said i don't know. We only stayed one night had we stayed longer we would've stayed somewhere. Customer service is very important to us and we felt like we were intruding they're hotel. Nobody wants to fee like that. Especially on their birthday weekend. Thankfully upon check out we ran into David who apologized on behalf of the rude staff and assured us he would take care of it at their next training.
