Return to the Era of Old World GraciousnessPosted Nov 21, 2017 on Hotels
Love it! Old world charm with enormous hallways and salons on each floor. Fantastic bathrooms, including the lobby. Pool area really nice but could use some TLC. Great employees, the BEST service from all.

Lovely hotel, great central location, charming staff. It was a great stay. Nice food and a good classic feel. The room and overall ambience of the hotel was lovely and the location of the hotel was close to the central square and bus routes so it was easy to get around and explore the lovely old streets and shops of Vina del Mar. Additionally it was within a very comfortable and pleasant walking distance of the coast.

Lovely old hotelPosted Apr 14, 2017
Pros: The breakfast and size of the room.
Cons: The friendliness of the staff.
Location: Great spot to visit Vina.
I love this hotel - it reminds you of a past time when hotels were not all the same. It is a little rough around the edges, but always an experience. The breakfast is good.

Very concenienyPosted Mar 29, 2016
Everything good except very bad wifi. The front desk made poor excuses for it. Said to re boot phone etc. the corridors and lobby's were littered with tired athletes trying to find better reception to talk to their all important friends and family. Not acceptable in this modern era where instantaneous contact is expected

Not the bestPosted Nov 22, 2015
Staff was great. The hotel is just old, noisy (under construction and paper thin walls), and lacking amenities. I was there on business and wifi basically didn't work in the room or the designated 3rd floor wifi zone. Location was great- right on plaza close to shopping, beach, casino.

Left after the first nights stayPosted Oct 27, 2015 on Hotels
The WIFI connection in the room was not stable. The beds were rollers beds on a wood floor and slid all over the place when you were on them. The bathroom was small and outdated. I would not choose to stay at this hotel again.

Average HotelPosted Oct 27, 2015 on Hotels
The front desk was helpful in transferring rooms because most have 2 twin beds, either pushed together or separated. They were able to get me in a king size bed. The hotel wifi is slow at best! During my stay, the occupancy was almost a full house so the older routers could not take the additional load. The bar in the lobby does make a great pisco sour and good food. Morning breakfast includes scrambled eggs, fruit, pastries, meats and cheeses - enough to get the day going. I booked via hotels.com and prepaid which made checkin and checkout smooth. No international transaction issues or additional taxes. Would I stay here again, no. Several other hotel in the area with nicer rooms and services.
