Great Hotel - Would recommend.
Excellent hotel with lots of choices to use the faciitlies in the other Barcelo Hotels next door to each other. The food was great, the pools were amazing and the staff were friendly. I would recommend.

Stayed in the Royal Level Family, this is a quiet area with nice pool and pool bar, not too busy could always get seats. Restaurant for breakfast fast and dinner we use the El Ancla which is in the old lighthouse, lovely food and service and cooked to order big prawns one night. Barceló is a huge resort with 3 hotels as such but done really well and it was a pleasure to stay there, we will go back.

Great food & wonderful service
We stayed in Royal level. the food was really excellent with lots of variety. Whilst the main offering was buffet this was backed up with a grill area and chef's who always had a couple of meat and fish specials every night plus a great variety of starters and deserts, etc. Really top class. Service was also very good with little or no real wait time if you wanted a drink or plates cleared. I felt the lounge area in our suite was a bit sparse in terms of furniture (A double sofa plus table and 3 dining chairs) which sounds ok but the rooms are quite large so one is left feeling that you would want just a little bit more for a true top of the range experience which this could be. Having said the above I would still absolutely recommend hotel for both families and couple alike. WE found many positives and came away well satisfied with our stay. Well done to staff who all worked hard and seemed to enjoy being there!

Superb hotel, absolutely flawless stay
Exceptionally good hotel. Great check in and check out by lovely lady. Room was beautiful and was given a free upgrade to a sea view and a late checkout. Everything was perfect and the quality of food and service in the restaurant was superb.

Run down - low focus on cleanliness. Food isn't great. Requests (comb, slippers) ignored. Towels in particularly bad condition. Usage of in-room safe is chargeable (?!). Sockets in bedroom randomly turn off. No VIP recognition or benefit. Overall, very passable.

Go Royal!
Really great service, particularly in Royal areas. Daniel in pool bar was brilliant, Aray and team in El Ancla restaurant too. Quality of beds and sun beds in Royal was very good and all inclusive was definitely worthwhile due to the amount of Pina Coladas and Magnum ice creams consumed. Resort was extremely quiet but due to travel limitations. Beach next to resort was quiet and very safe. Would definitely stay again.

The best hotel I’ve ever stayed at, in Europe
Nothing short of superb, on every level. Our Junior Suite 4019 (apartment) is a fantastic size, well equipped, and even a full free mini bar. We have 3 levels of furnished terraces, the top one hosts the hot tub and 2 sun beds, the middle one has 2 sofas the one nearest the doors has a table and 4 chairs. On top of that directly above us we have roof terrace. All of this faces south and looks straight out towards the sea. The buffet dinner was small - a good thing-and offered a superb range of very tasty food.

Our suite was in a beautiful location, a few minutes walk along the street from the main hotel reception and from our buffet restaurant and even closer to the prom close to the marina area. The pool area inside the ‘V’ of our block was gorgeous. We really enjoyed our stay. Our criticisms? Our suite showed a little wear and the night lock on our front door didn’t work. WiFi was slow and worked only intermittently, difficult when we required remote access for work purposes at times, and exterior lighting on steps wasn’t working.

Overall of our family stay is quite good, location is excellent. Breakfast is great, very easy to access to beach. But room facility needs to improve a bit. Sofa bed not steady, no pull-out make up mirror, not enough lighting in our suite. Would recommend to install spot lights into the wardrobe and the entrance.

Having stayed here several times before, I knew what to expect and it never failed me. However I had to have my key card reset seven times during my stay, which not being the end of the world, was still an inconvenience I didn’t need. My only black mark is the tiled area surrounding the pool, really needs tidying up as looks very worn n tired: Still this place is excellent value for money

The place itself is amazing, food is great. We stayed in the royal level all inclusive and the restaurants are all great. Remember to pack trousers for the restaurant as it's a mandatory requirement though :).

We arrived slightly early but after checking in we were whisked away to our room, with AI bands in place. Room was large, handy fridge, kettle, microwave, iron/board. Bed was comfortable and plenty of storage. We booked a sea view, which we had, although as we were in the corner room our balcony was overlooked by the balcony from the next block, a few meters away. Food was lovely, so many places to eat (and drink) in, nice to feel as though you were leaving the hotel and were eating 'out' but still AI. The staff were the hotels greatest asset, so friendly, took time to speak to you and this was over the whole resort. We would return without hesitation.

A perfect short break
I would highly recommend this hotel. We stayed for a short break and the hotel is convenient to the airport. There was a friendly welcome on arrival, the room was lovely and a good selection of food. All of the staff were very helpful and pleasant. We hope to return in the future.

Nice hotel, but we did have a few problems.
The hotel / resort is very good, but there were a few issues which were very poorly dealt with by the hotel. Firstly, I'd asked for a high floor room n my booking - we were allocated a ground floor room and when I asked why I was told "hotels.com didn't send the request through." I have heard this before but as they were able to get us an upper floor room the following day I let it go. The new room was much better apart from malfunctioning air conditioning. I reported this and it dodn't get resolved while we were there. This is a shame as the rest of the stay was good.

I was given a free upgrade to a suite in Block 5, with a beachfront location with jacuzzi. The staff and ccouldn't do enough for me and the food was delicious, fresh fish and langoustine, grilled to order. Ian highly recommend

very relaxing stay. All facilities in one place. It really made a difference to stay all inclusive and in the Royal section. We had free access to two gym, spa, bars and restaurants, did not have to carry a penny on us! only if you decide to do any water sports (also on site) you might need some cash! I think the rooms might be up for an upgrade but the staff were so helpful and prompt that you can easily overlook that. otherwise the outdoor pool possibly on a smaller side but well kept and plenty of sunbeds to use. Of course the are few more swimming pools on the resort that we could also access. All in all, if deciding to go to Fuerteventura, this is the best place and best way to do it! We will for sure going back!

Absolutely fantastic stay! Right from onset our stay was brilliant. Our room had a hot tub onlooking the beach and sea. The junior suite was equipped with a lounge area, kitchen and dinning area with a clean and stylish walk-in bathroom.

Fabulous holiday in fuerteventura
The Royal Level rooms are either looking into the beach or the sea. The rooms are modern stylish with one of the most comfortable beds ever. Beds changed twice in a week's stay with cleaners coming in daily. Some rooms have got hot tubs others upstairs have much larger balconies. The Royal Level has it's own swimming pool and restaurant although you can use the other one of you prefer a busier noisier eating place. food was excellent some dishes were already prepared others were cooked by the chef to order. The staff were friendly and very helpful and from your first welcoming drink to the free water and chocolates in your room everything was thought of to make your week special.
