Great servicePosted Jul 2, 2015 on Hotels
Good hotel for the price, very close to downtown and my Aunt's house. Great service as they opened the pool for us after hours two nights in a row. Breakfast was ok and we would stay here again.

A lovey stayPosted Jul 2, 2015
Very nice hotel, located close to downtown as well a large shopping mall and major restaurant Avenue( 17 Ave ). Hot breakfast daily and very helpful and friendly staff. Very good rates. Presently being redecorated without inconvenience Nguyen guests. Definately planning to make it my Calgary destination in future. Better value than the Delta.

Would stay againPosted Jul 1, 2015 on Hotels
The only problem we had was the fact that there was no lounge (which I acknowledge was my own fault and I should have done a little more research) and the breakfast sucked. The beds were amazing, room was clean, we showed up early and our room wasn't ready but they had it good to go in 15 minutes which we really appreciated. The staff were awesome and the one gentleman even pointed us in the right direction for a nice lounge that was only a 2 minute walk away at a neighbouring hotel.

Easy to access and great for visiting CalgaryPosted Jun 30, 2015
Pros: Most things were good. The reception staff, and in particular Dan, were very polite, helpful and really friendly. They made life so much easier for us
Cons: The breakfast room was a little bit basic and could be improved a little. However, it did not detract from the overall good standard of this hotel.
Location: The location is easy to find and has great public transport nearby. The city centre is 10 minutes away by train.
The hotel was very easy to find had great parking and really good for accessing all areas of Calgary. There were plenty good eating spots within a short walk of the hotel and staff were good at directing you there. The nearby Gtrain station was great for visiting Calgary and you could leave the car at the hotel. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and the swimming pool was really good and quiet. This was a great choice for our visit and I would certainly use it again if visiting.

It'll workPosted Jun 26, 2015 on Hotels
The major reason I stayed here was because it is so close to the Calgary Stampede where I had an event. The staff were great. And the room was OK. The air conditioner was loud and rattled so I had to turn it off at night so I could sleep. I also didn't like that the bathroom door was the type of door that automatically closes and it was heavy. It was more of a door used for enter and exit than a bathroom door. Otherwise the room served the purpose needed. The rate was the best part. They offered a free breakfast but I missed it both mornings because I was gone before 6am. I would stay there again if needed.

Excellent stop at the end of a long day of drivingPosted Jun 18, 2015
Pros: The staff were particularly helpful and friendly. And very funny as well. It is great to get to a place after a lot of travel and be able to laugh.
Location: Excellently close to downtown and the rapid transit. Also walking distance to the stampede site.
The facility is top notch and the staff were friendly, helpful and genuinely funny and welcoming. It was a great place to settle down for a few days.

Broken glass on the floorPosted Jun 8, 2015
Pros: friendly, courteous staff. Bed was very comfortable. Reasonable quiet, despite being on busy road.
Cons: vacuum floor
Awesome hotel in every respect except shocked to see several pieces of broken glass on the bathroom and bedroom floor
