A five-star resort this is not, and that's just OK

This great little motel has the best staff and facilities I've ever encountered in a sub-$100 hotel. The free breakfast was quite extensive, reminded me of the better hostel breakfasts I've had backpacking around Europe. It's located right in the middle of a number of restaurants and other tourist services. The staff was fantastic, very friendly and helpful. The WiFi was *excellent*. The room was simple, but large, clean, and quite well equipped. The pseudo-kitchenette was a really nice surprise, as were the desk and table. Two of us were able to open up our laptops and get some work done without resorting to slouching in our beds. The A/C unit was noisy but blasted the room with a solid arctic chill (very nice after a long hot day of driving). My only real beef is with the shower. There was entirely *too much* hot water. I think this may be one of those good problems though.
Anyway, TL;DR: Great simple motel with all the amenities frequent travellers come to expect. The heated pool is a nice touch as well.
