Great Location - Great People

Posted Dec 2, 2016
Pros: Location and great staff. Clean hotel that had everything we needed.
Cons: This is very common to most hotels but improved wifi connection would be an added improvement.
Location: Not far from downtown, very close to C-train station and park for free because you are a hotel guest.
Great quality hotel for a decent price. Located just 2 blocks from the C-train station. The staff is super friendly from the people at the front desk, to the staff at breakfast.

Reasonably priced

Posted Oct 27, 2016
Convenient location, close to Saddledome and reasonably priced, but it was noisy and the room wasn't very clean. Hot tub was mediocre. Restaurant was good.

Maintenance and staff Unresponsive. 2 out of 5.

Posted Oct 26, 2016
Pros: Staff was kind, though unable to communicate the importance of maintenance for comfort.
Cons: The bar (claiming restaurant status) seemed more interested in getting rich on over-serving severely drunk, loud and crude customers.
Location: Great and easy access to anywhere.
Toilet consistently ran, I had to remove the lid and manually lower the flapper valve every time. Reported this to housekeeping as well as the front desk...no response, no fix. If you are looking for a hot tub, this hotel is NOT the standard. Water was yellowed and smelled (no chlorine?) the inner surrounding was horribly strained, and the jets were ineffective and not hot.

Nice people, poorly maintained hotel

Posted Oct 26, 2016
Location: The location on Macleod Trail is perfect. Less than 10 minutes from downtown and close to a C-train station.
Some of the issues I encountered on my recent stay include: 1. TV didn't work properly. I asked front desk several times to send someone with a TV remote to up the brightness on my TV. Never happened. 2. Little hot water in the morning. I would have to leave the shower running for several minutes before any hot water came out. Very little water pressure as well. 3. The pillows were lumpy. I woke up with a terrible headache my first morning. Had to ask housekeeping to find me a normal sized pillow.

All positive BUT

Posted Oct 6, 2016
Pros: check in was easy, staff great.
Cons: More appealing, tasty, original breakfast.
Location: convenient to downtown
Everything was beyond expectations for the price except for the breakfast which was pretty awful. Staff were nice but eggs were rubbery and my daughter couldn't eat the waffle.

The hotel is close to downtown which was great for dining options - very easy to get to Spruce Meadows from this hotel.
