Hotel is well placed in south Calgary.

Pros: Staff, location
Cons: they could do some painting and dusting in common areas
Location: shopping and meetings
Staff worked diligently to find my reservation as Expedia provided incorrect name for the reservation. The rest of the stay everything went well.

No hot water, no internet

First two days of our stay we had no hot water. Wasn't even warm enough to run a bath. Last day of our stay they fixed it. The entire time of our stay we had no Internet. We were on vacation and wanted to sleep in which was impossible as they had workers right outside our door apparently working on the Internet every morning. For three days they worked on it but we still had no Internet. They did take $30 off our bill........ Ya $30.... Gee thanks!!! Never again!!

outrageous price for what you get.

Pros: The Staff at the front desk are ausome and the girls at the atrium buffet very polite and allways there to refill your juice glass.
Cons: definatley have to keep the food warmer at the breakfast buffet it woudnt have passed health standards for temperature and we were there 6:15 am.
Location: there is a Canadian tire on one side and a Walmart supercentre across the street and it is not far from rocky view hospital.
I have to say the staff were excellent but our room was very small with a king bed, the air conditioner was blasting cold and very loud so we froze all night and had no way to turn it down or off the room was very clean and the bed was comfortable had a person been able to sleep with the noise of the air conditioner it might have been worth the $328.00 for one night and to top it off we went for breakfast in the Atrium $20.00 each for buffet with ice cold scrambled eggs potatoes that were ice cold bits of rubber cold hard french toast the sausage and the bacon were not bad and all the juice you wanted to drink.

Great stay; need to adjust hot water tap though.

Each of us in my family almost burned our hands using the bathroom sink; hot water needed adjusting big time. Liked the water slide for the kids and breakfast buffet was a hit. Great staff all around.

We stayed in a club room and enjoyed the lounge access. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Excellent service

When I wasn't happy with my room because I couldn't control the climate, the desk person immediately suggested a move to a room in the newer part of the hotel for my second night. They moved my luggage, gave me an upgrade as well as access to the club floor. I probably would have just put up with the cold room so,was very pleased with this service.

A couple unusual problems ruined my stay

The rooms in the main tower of the hotel had been switched to air conditioning (cooling) a week earlier, and there was no way to heat the room. So, every room was cold. I complained, and a maintenance man showed-up (who explained the situation), and provided me with a portable heater. He said that everyone was complaining. (My colleagues who had their own rooms didn't complain but suffered through the night then got heaters for their 2nd night.) The other problem I had was a totally un-intuitive shower-faucet design. I couldn't figure-out how to turn on the shower and ended-up having to have a bath (which I hate doing!). When I went to the front desk to complain, they pulled a replica faucet out of from under the counter to show me the trick. Obviously, they have this problem quite a bit. I wasn't impressed.

Stayed at the BEST in the middle of everything

Jazz Juno awards concert .... was right in the middle of so many venues. Your staff were so focussed, kind and helpful.
