A cheap stay in downtown Calgary

The bed was very comfortable, at the same time the shower and the toilet did not drain very well. We stayed one night so that wasn't a huge problem but it might be on a longer stay.

The location was great. The hotel was older than I expected. The doors were very narrow and would be difficult for a larger person to navigate through. The room I had looked out to the pool which is outdoors and there was a large draft from the outside into my room.

Pros: The location was close to the business district which is convenient for business travelers.
Cons: Renovate the building and rooms.
Overall the room was disappointing. The facilities were worn, the TV remote had several defective buttons, the ceiling was peeling, the pipes banged all night. For the price, I don't believe it was worth it.

Clean and great location!

Great location right in the downtown core. Clean room and very fast room service. Also enjoyed a couple of workouts in the fitness room.

Stayed for one night but didn't get much sleep. Despite being exhausted the room was so hot and bed so soft that I found myself constantly waking up to remove more bedding. Otherwise the hotel is nice and in a useful location. The staff are excellent though and helped solve a few major problem that I was having.

Pros: It is across the street from my office
Cons: Upgrade the hotel or at least fix the HVAC system
The HVAC system does not work well. Walking into my room was a sauna and it was not adjustable downwards. To lower the heat I had to keep the window open 24/7 and I was there for 4 nights. I could sleep, but it was uncomfortable.

Good hotal with quality in proportion to price.

Breakfast is 15 dollats+ taxes. But, the manue is small; I had no other choice. The services are excellent.

Nice hotel close in downtown

The Ramada was a nice comfortable hotel right in Downtown. The bed was super comfortable! The pillows were amazing. Downside was that our room was right next door to the hotel lifts which were quite noisey! Overall not bad.

Pros: Staff
Cons: The hotel needs updating and the food was not great.
Location: Location was great
The room was hot but the hotel staff tried to help by moving us to a different room. It was a little better but the fan nor the coffee maker worked in this room.
