Good Location to YEG

Pros: Only good thing was the location of the Hotel. Had a 6:30 am flight o catch. Arrived @ 2130 hrs. previous night.
Cons: I asked if there was a pop machine in the building. Asked what I was looking for...Duhhhh. English definitely a 2nd language.
Location: Just wanted a place to sleep close to the airport, nothing else.
Overpriced. Front Desk Staff (lady) did not have a good grasp of the English Language. No pop machine in the building. Room very mediocre. Would never stay here again.

Wanted to ahoyel close to airport because of early

I actually arrived early but the girl was very nice and was able to get me a room early. Very professional. Although it is only for the 1 night it is a great experience staying here. Thanks. Mike

Hotel airport

Will gladly pay more to walk across to the airport and get on a plane. Would have appreciated a little discount on weekly parking, but the convienence was lovely, especially for the return 12 am flight.

Convenient for travelling by air from YYC

Pros: Convenient
Cons: Breakfast.
Location: Catching your airplane.
For the price was surprised that breakfast was not included, not even continental. This was an added inconvenience.

Perfect pause

Pros: Perfect location, very comfortable bed, free wi fi, coffee machine in the room.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: An easy stroll from international arrivals and even closer to domestic departures. Nice lounge.
After flying from London UK to Calgary, it was so nice to stop for an evening and night in the hotel before travelling on the next morning. So much nicer than queuing up for the onward flight like many of my fellow passengers. Simply walking across the street to the hotel was one of the pleasures. Our inbound flight was delayed, so it was a relief not to worry about making a connecting flight. The hotel staff were very friendly and the facilities very good. The stay added a little to the overall time and cost of the journey, but well worth it. Much better to arrive in the morning refreshed than tired than night before.

The room was clean & was spacious enough for my 2 children & myself. However, my elite narrow twin stroller did not fit through the door?! Front desk was kind enough however wanted nothing to do with helping a single mother traveling.

Bathroom door too narrow for a relatively small 25in wide wheel chair... unacceptable!!! it’s Canada not Europe ! Won’t go back

Wanted The Marriott across the road

booked the wrong hotel...wanted the new Marriott Calgary Airport where my conference was. This hotel is getting long in the tooth and needs an upgrade. room smelled of smoke from last 25 years

Jet Fuel Fumes

Pros: Convenience. I stepped out of the terminal building and walked about 50 steps to the parking garage elevators. That area could be a bit more welcoming
Cons: Fumes from aircraft were quite strong in my room. May have been because the windows were left open, but can't be sure.
Location: Located right at the airport, so great for early morning flights or overnight connections.
When I checked in, the window was open and the room smelled of jet fuel. I closed the window but the smell never really dissipated. So while I'm not sure if the smell in the room would have been better had the window not been left open, I'm not sure that it was necessarily the cause.
