terrible smell of renovation

Simply Superb!!

Pros: The attention to detail and the conscientiousness of the staff; the cleanliness of the property.
Cons: Nothing - this is a hotel the chain can be proud of.
Location: Right near the main north-south highway. Twenty minutes from downtown. Close to dining, shopping and attractions.
This hotel has a WalMart across the street, Costco nearby, is right by the highway, 20 minutes from downtown, lots of restaurants on sight and nearby. The security is excellent: card swipe to get anywhere including the elevators to go up; the rooms are spotless, the pool is very clean; lots of space and amenities. The best part of it the staff. From the moment we checked in, reception ensured we got the room to meet our needs; the housekeeping staff were friendly and had our room even smelling clean each day; even the manager interacted with us and ensured that any little bumps in the road were taken care of, even when they didn't involve her property. I highly recommend staying here if you are in Calgary.

Room rundown. Bed not very comfortable and noisy

We stayed for 5 days. The carpets, sofawere ripped,furniture was chipped or cracked. it looks like every damage made has never been fix. The swimming pool had so much chlorine that was full of foam, we were looking forward to swimm but never went in it. The room were clean. But staying in the first floor next to the pool was noisy. I will not stay there again.

Pros: Clean and convenient
Cons: No
I was on a business trip, so my time was limited at the hotel. As I have stated this was my second time and I will make it a third time very soon.

Close to Stampede Park and Ikea

Was nice hotel until cleaning staff started knocking on the door at 7:30 am, to see if we were ready to have our room cleaned. The second time they came knocking was at 9:30 am. Sort of felt like they were saying "Thanks for coming, now get out!" I did double check to make sure that check out time was 11:00 am. My daughter wanted to shower before we left, but the shower was broken, so she ended up bathing instead.

Clean and Upgraded for intercity stay

We only used the hotel for sleeping so did not get to use anything like the pool etc. Check in took so long as only one person was working and no apology for making us wait, room was great and clean, beds are hard compared to most hotels. Obvious damage to towel bar, fixed, but obvious it was ripped off wall previously and was still loose. Did not tell us about express check-out and stood in line for another long wait. water and coffee in lobby was nice, was not informed if there was a breakfast or not.

Ok hotel

Main part of room Looked clean. Bathroom was moldy and the room smelled damp. Patio door did not lock, bathroom grout had mold. We requested late checkout and paid for day rate and still had house keeping knock on our door, and our room cards stopped working.

Very good suite hotel

Spacious suite. Hotel has a very nice lobby with a bright ground floor business centre that is off the lobby - can be used for quiet reading it's that comfortable. Coffee, breakfast bars and water in the lobby a nice touch. Pool is a little small but nice hot tub. Biggest bonus is it's across from an Ikea with nice food. Attached to 2 chain restaurants for affordable good eats and next door to a Wal Mart you can get cheap snacks for your in-room kitchen.
