It's bad

Room was dirty, bedding had spots and both beds haid hairs from previous people. The lid on the toilet was falling off so just leaned it against the wall. Towels were dingy and lighting over mirror had 3 of 7 lights working. We arrived about 10:30 and the lobby was already locked for the night so had to ring bell and wait. Night clerk was hard to understand due to accent. Lobby smelled bad. The pictures on line must have been several years old because it wasn't anywhere close to the neat clean photographs. I should have stayed in Colorado Springs or Limon. Was the worst hotel experience in last 30 years!

Comfortable place to stay .

Location: Close to all Calhan businesses and the Paint Mine Park.
Very convenient , staff was pleasant and very helpful . Right across from the Auction House and close to all Calhan businesses. Definitely would stay here again.

Convienent, quiet, overpriced

Check in was quick, staff was polite, bed was clean, carpet was torn and needed vacuuming, an extra TV was randomly setting on the floor in the corner of the room. 3 men on a hunting trip, we had booked the "family" room in order to get 3 beds. I wasn't expecting a first class motel, but I felt it was overpriced for the product.

A spring in one of the mattresses was broken and the carpet was very stained. Also the sink had big rust stains. It was very conveniently located.

Small town quality motel

The hotel was undergoing amateur remodeling while we were there, bathroom door would not close, sink was rusted and crumbling at overflow. They had patched but not painted the wall behind the entry door, also did not install a door stop, so the repair is damaged too. "Non Smoking" room has an ashtray.

No inn to get my booked room

The sign said open, we booked on hotels.com before we were in Colorado and the door was locked and the sign read"ing he bel" ( no typos) well we rang the bell no one answered, we knocked nothing, we called hotels. Com and they called and were told 2 times they were on the way nothing!! We left and after driving 16 hours drove 1 more to get a room elsewhere .

stay away from this place

Cons: read above
Location: close to larger Colorado cities, nothing in town
Sheets are so old we could see through them plus my wife's top sheet was dirty. They charged us $10 extra for the 2nd person. 2 queen beds but they charge extra for 2nd person and we only had 1 shampoo, 1 conditioner. They can't give extra toiletries for the 2nd person after paying extra ? Mattress was acceptable. I initially walked into the room and pulled the curtains open and the entire fixture fell to the floor. While showering , the tub filled with water, poor drainage. 3.8 out of 5 say this place is good? they gouged us , since Colorado Springs and Denver had a lot going on over the weekend , charged us 50% more for this crummy room

The beds and pillows were hard. The towels and comforter were stained. Definitely not worth the $100 I paid for it.
