Nice updated hotel, a little walk from the town center. Loved the pool area. Still working on updating the outdoor areas/landscaping so a little noisy at times.

Centrally located...we'll be back

Pleasantly surprised they called me while on my drive to Calistoga to ask if I had any special instructions or there was anything I need before checking in..I asked for extra pillows. It was a nice touch. They give you tea bags and coffee grounds at the front desk..there is a water heater in the room for the tea, and paper filters for the pour over drip coffee maker. The room is clean, spacious, modern, and still new-ish. There's a small safe in the room. Free wifi. There's a jump rope in the room, but couldn't find the hula hoop they talked about, haha. The cork board has useful info of the resort (like smores making, pool parties, family fun times) and activities in the area. The water and ice tea in the refrigerator, and the snacks on the counter are all complementary. Bike rentals for first 2 hours is free, with nominal fee if you want them longer. There's a spa on site for the massages and mud treatment (not a mud bath). They provide you with robes in the room and pool towels at the front desk..for their 3 mineral pools (warm, warmer, and hot tub). There are more water dispensers by the pool and covered seating areas to keep your stuff out of the sun. Glass isn't allowed in pool area, so get plastic cups for your beer and wine..they can loan you a bottle opener at the front desk. It's conveniently located..a short drive to downtown Calistoga, some wineries, good restaurants, other spa and mud bath treatments, and near the Old Faithful Geyser of California.

Amazing stay!

We showed up at the hotel and at the time of check in we realized I had made the reservation for 2 days prior of our arrival. The lady at front desk was super helpful and even upgraded us to a suite! She didn't charge us any penalty or fee and was very kind! The hotel was fantastic, right by the silverado trail a short walking distance to all the restaurants and shops! We cannot wait to come back!

More than a motel

Lovely motel in a great location. Lots of extras - fresh coffee for your room- made our stay really enjoyable. Calistoga (and several of the wineries) are walkable from here.

A great place to stay in Calistoga

Great newly renovated modern styled roadside hotel. The property appears to be a converted roadside motel that is super convenient to downtown, 4 min drive. The renovation made the room modern, nicely styled and super clean. There is a nice pool, but not fancy. During my stay no food or coffee, but the hotel did give breakfast certificates at a great local coffee cafe downtown. Outside the room there were two great chairs to relax in and take in the sunset (suprisingly one of the nicest features).

Not a Retro Boutique Hotel

Posted Jun 28, 2017
Pros: Location
Cons: Everything.
Location: 15 min walk to town
So the pictures on the Expedia website of the room we booked didnt even come close to the room we were given. Further, the pics give the impression that it is a retro boutique hotel. It is nothing at all like that. This is a refurbished motor lodge.

Good overall would just add a few amenities such as a microwave and a slightly larger refrigerator that has a freezer shelf to re-freeze ice packs etc.
