It took about 25 minutes to get there are 6 PM but only 10 minutes at 6 AM. Neighborhood was kind of sketchy with bars on all windows and doors. But the taxi driver escorted me into the hotel. Everything was clean and relatively new. Nice hot shower. Comfortable bed with a TV. Was able to get a pizza at the hotel that was OK. For the price and convenience to the airport, I thought it was fine.

Hotel was clean and family was very nice. Good place to stay if you need to be close to the airport (leS than 5 minutes by taxi) The location is little sketchy but it's hard to avoid if you want to be near the airport.

"Relatively nice hostel very close to the airport. "
Great experience, Frank and Paulino were both amazing to us. They helped us with anything we needed, and showed us around the area. They also had a taxi who they frequently used and was very nice. The breakfast was pretty simple, an egg and some bread, and the rooms were pretty basic, but overall very good.

Our flight was late (nearly midnight). Airport transportation was $60 US, even though the place is close to the airport. The driver did not know the hotel and had a hard time finding it. We had to wake the clerk when we got there. However, the room was available and clean. The place is low-budget and there was no hot water in the shower until the clerk turned on the water heater the next morning. However, the room was clean and the clerk arranged for transportation back to the airport for our flight to Cusco the next morning for about $7.00 (20 soles). The hotel is in the warehouse district, a tough part of town. But it is clean, the clerk was helpful and over all it was a good value. Some ability to communicate in Spanish is helpful if you want to stay at Hostal Hostello. Get some Peruvian currency (Sol) from an ATM or exchange at the airport before you check in. Everything is much more expensive if paid in dollars.
