We had a late arrival and the key card, issued at automatic check-in, pdidn’t work. The manager was called out and re magnetised card. However, the room had not been changed/cleaned. Manager called out 2nd time. Next room tried hadn’t been cleaned. Third room was prepared.

Good place for a one nighter but the beds weren’t the best, toilet weren’t the best I couldn’t even remember if there was a shower. Right next to a truck parking lot. Looks like a motel

Late arriving and paymachine didn't work. However the receptionist opened up and could not have been more helpful. Breakfast was perfect and great value. Thankyou to the staff gentleman who clearly works hard.

No air conditioning- false advertising
There is no Air conditioning hotel whatsoever, false advertising on Hotel.com and other websites. We tried to get a refund of our stay but the staff refused so I called hotels.com to reason with staff. The staff speaks English quite well but when hotel.com calls them, she refuses to speak English to Hotel.com to provide any assistance. The windows can’t be locked and there were no screens on the windows and bugs can fly in. There are a lot of truckers around walking around without their shirt on. Definitely not suitable for family visit. The location is right off the highway, so I’d say it is convenient when you are driving but it is not close to any business.

good value and very clean beds
Budget room in a truck stop area, quiet place to sleep outside caen. great value for money, quiet and very clean crisp white sheets.Small shower with towels provided breakfast is cheap and staff were friendly . the hotel has an automeated check in with keys dispensed in a machine so dont forget your bookign reference - there are no staff around at night

Concrete outside stairs and no lift . Not good !
Like all 3 of your hotels I had great difficulty locating them by sat nav . You need to give clearer address instructions . It spoiled my holiday as I wasted probably 30 minutes or more trying to find each one and stressed me out as I was travelling solo.

You get what you pay for. Small but clean and although in industrial area it felt safe. Fine for what we needed: a place to sleep during road trip. Only complaint: room said "free wifi" but that was incorrect. Wifi was in reception area which closed at 9pm. For me wifi is a must.

very basic... but make sure you have a car
the hotel was fine, the room served it's purpose. Basically it had a bed and a shower. But if you plan on staying, be sure to have a car. The location is way from everything and the public transportation to get anywhere is VERY limited. I probably spend $100 just on cabs and bus fares. The restaurant next door is NOT open on sat or sundays and is basically a truck stop. I take that back, it IS a truck stop.Pay the extra money and stay in center city, that area is really nice, and historic.

This is just about the worst hotel we have ever stayed in, bare concrete walls, bed uncomfortable, bathroom disgusting. room containing shower and toilet must have only been about 8ft a 2ft. Sat Nav could not find it. Sleep in the car before stop here

When inexpensive rhymes with cheap
One should not expect too much of a hotel charging so low prices. Even there, the hotel did not deliver up to my very limited expectations. The place is located in an industrial park, near the highway. A shopping center and restaurants can be found nearby (around 2 km), but you need the car to go there. The decoration is at a bare minimum but I really don't mind that much. Finding the toilet close to the shower cabin (in fact, the toilet is in the shower cabin!) is not only surprising but also mainly awkward since you are likely to have your feet wet when you go to the toilet. The most irritating issue is the fact that you perfectly hear what the neighbors say and do. Unless you are sleeping pretty hard (and it that case your snoring will likely disturb your neighbors), you should not expect to have a peaceful night of sleep. Inexpensive prices may also attract people who are not specifically respectful in public places such hotels. I should have paid 10-20 euros more and find a better place to stay. I am sorry if I'm so harsh, in fact it is my first ever negative hotel review, but when the bare minimum is not reached (i.e. like to have a night of rest), I cannot say otherwise. I was so happy to get out the day after that I left without having breakfast, so I can not comment on that.

Good price but somewhat isolated
The hotel is in the middle of an industrial park, which is a little inconvenient because there are no nearby restaurants but not too much of a problem if you have your own auto. It was clean but a little small, particularly the shower. I would stay there again.
