Out of date chalet style room. very cold as door opened straight onto outside. Ok, There's a partition door but cold air comes straight in. I asked for a double and got a twin. If I wanted to sleep in a single bed, I would have asked for one. Luckily I was only staying on my way to the ferry, and for that, it was adequate.

Dear Customer,We do everything to ensure that our customers are satisfied but here I see that this is not the case and I do not see why?Beyond the fact that you don't like the decoration, I invite you to go to the expedia site on which you made your reservation from February 10 to 11 with a standard room, 2 single beds and if that did not suit us, it you just had to tell us orally and not by writing a message two days after your arrival, which leaves us no chance of satisfying you.CordiallyfrancisDeputy

Overall the accommodation was OK, very minor issues with lack of replacement coffee/tea. Main issue was incorrect billing, with a charge for four sets of breakfasts when only 1 was taken. Error was pointed out and bill amended.

Really friendly helpful staff. Sorted a change of room to downstairs as my husband is disabled. Large clean room slept really well didn't notice traffic noise and hotel was very quiet. Tra and coffee facilities excellent. Didn't use restaurant this time but have in past. Will definitely book again next time near Caen

Caen stay.
A clean and comfortable room and bed. Room and style of decor very dated but on the whole clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful and restaurant good, reasonably cheap and basic but tasty.

Overnight stop for ferry
Nice overnight stay, very convenient for ferry and easy to find. Room was very clean. Arrived late and so didn’t use restaurant but it looked nice. Friendly staff on reception. Would definitely use again.

Avoid the Restaurant!
It was difficult to find the reception. It is not at the front and there is no obvious sign. We had dinner there in the restaurant. A very bad mistake! The burger of the day was inedible. The vegetarian cheese tart special (+4 Euros) turn out to be a pizza. Otherwise the hotel provides a convenient overnight stop.

Great for a stay before early ferry.
Stayed here several times which enables you to catch the early morning ferry. Very pleasant staff and nice greeting from reception easy check in. Comfortable room clean and nice shower with plenty of hot water. Will stay again. Highly recommended.

Very difficult to find, not well signposted to be seen when driving round commercial area looking for it. Menu choice not as good as in the past. Towel supply & coffe/ tea quantities much more meagre, no fresh milk.

Comfortable bed. Pillows not big enough Room clean but a bit worn. Toilet cistern running all the time but as we checked in after 10pm not able to get it fixed This hotel is an ideal overnight stop after coming off the afternoon ferry from Portsmouth

A good nights sleep, surprisingly quiet.
Room was fine with comfortable, large bed, air con, etc. Decor was tired, air freshener on the floor, open, duct cover off and on the floor and extract fan cover missing altogether, all in the bathroom.

Great hotel for local break
Stayed at hotel several times. Always been good. One thing noticed was the owners have installed an extra large bed, one side great for comfort down side only had about 20cm to get down side of bed. Overall though still great for one night stay.

Room was small and basic, but beds were comfy, and it was clean. The room was quiet ,easy parking. Good value for what you pay. Handy for both ferry and peripherique.

Musty rooms!
Rather disappointed either the hotel after my stays in other Campaniles. The hotel needs an overhall and upgrading. Rooms dingy and smelt musty. Booked twin room, but not much room for 2, so my son had to book another room for himself! Did not sample the dining on offer. Rooms not noisy, so restful sleep. Attention needs to be paid to the uneven pathways, someone will have an accident!

near to the ferry
this is a budget hotel, near to the ferry port, but far enough away to avoid problems with refugees. our room was very small, but clean. dinner was good and the staff very helpful. I would recommend the hotel for an overnight stay.

Nice Hotel; close to port at Ouisterham.

Good stop over before you hit the autoroute.
Stayed here on a previous occasion well situated for a 1 night stay after leaving the late ferry into Ouisterham. Easy to find and close enough to Caen and the auto routes. Friendly helpful welcome from reception staff room more than adequate. Warm and clean good bathroom facilities. Breakfast the next morning very pleasant. Highly recommended.

It does the job for one night close to the ferry
Rather tired decor but clean. We needed two rooms and a cot in one and staff were excellent in giving us rooms together and the cot was excellent. The restaurant is ok and useful to have if you are tired after a journey and do not want to go elsewhere. Despite it being close to big roads and a retail centre it was quite and seemed secore.
