Excellent budget motel.

Posted May 12, 2016
Nothing fancy here at the Campanile. But only a few minutes of a drive from town. (Plenty of free parking just at the edge of the main tourist area) It was an extremely busy night at the hotel when we were there, but the rooms were extremely quiet. The Campanile surpassed all expectations we had for a budget motel.

Looking it's age

Posted Jul 12, 2014
Pros: good location for run in to Lahavre port. Easy to find
Cons: needs to be better cleaned and breakfasts expensive
Location: very near to Honfleur with is a great little seaside port full of restaurants
Stayed at campaniles a lot but this one is looking its age. Bed linen etc clean but room looking very dated and tatty with lots of dirty areas. staff ok but brusk. good location for access to Lahavre port. food basic

Not in honfleur but good price

Posted Apr 24, 2014
Pros: ...price ....manager was great
Cons: ...funny smell in room ....noise from other rooms ....not too many restaurants in area
Location: Honfleur is a great little town
Arrived in the area and the hotels was hard to find. However, the price was reasonable and made up for the fact the hotel was not in Honfleur. The manager was great and made us feel at welcome. Honfleur was great and we enjoyed the area.

Stayed one night as part or week of sightseeing. Very easy to get to from main highway. About 15 minute walk to historic and very scenic downtown. Restaurant food was fine but not spectacular - not really any other restaurant choices at hotel, but plenty of great choices downtown. Good value for price of hotel. Friendly, helpful, English speaking staff.

Clean. comfortable rooms, good service and friendly, helpful staff. Just what you need after a long day travelling. The on-site restaurant was also welcome. Highly recommended!

Unhappy

Posted May 31, 2012
Pros: Pleasant location.
Cons: Cleanliness.
Location: Pleasant. Near to Honfleur and attractions.
Found the room rather tired and in need of a refurb. Had a meal in the Hotel Resturant on the 1st evening and had to wait over an hour for our meal to arrive. Far too long for a one course meal. We had 2 rooms and the second one had no aircon working, and as it was a very hot weekend this was uncomfortable. The problem was reported on more than one occaision but to no avail. No English channels on the TV.

Excellent for the price

Friendly staff, well kept rooms, nice ensuite. Overall, excellent accommodation, and even more so given the budget price.
