Great location if you are driving. Parking in town is a real pain. This property is outside of the main city and has a nice secure parking lot. A lot of tours use this hotel. This hotel is newer and more modern than most hotels in town.

Bathroom commode area extremely small; bathroom tub difficult to get into; shower difficult to turn on; breakfast was excellent; dinner was good; front desk & bar service was spotty, had to wait long time to get service, front desk under staffed.

Night time front desk person had no idea where a pharmacy or an ERoom was which I thought was ridiculous. Was having an allergic reaction and this guy was no help at all. Just sat there and told us to google it. Awful employee

Modern hotel, good location.
Stayed for one night en route back to Cherbourg. The hotel is modern and clean. Nice communal areas. Very good breakfast. Great location a short level walk into the city and close to out of town shops including a huge L’Eclerc. Weather wasn’t good enough for us to use pool (it was open, but we didn’t fancy it!), but it looked nice. Room itself was very simple and soulless. Served a purpose but a bit of a shame given rest of hotel is nice. A bit overpriced for what it was.

Overnight stay in Bayeux
Overnight stay. For a four star hotel to be providing paper cups in the room is being cheap. It has nothing to do with saving the environment it's just to save money. Novotel as a group seem to have reduced the size of their rooms. To use the toilet you needed to be a contortionist. Any big person would have had problems. The bathroom was small but did have the facilities required

Location!
Novatel is in a great location for walking to the old town. (Driving in old town is a pain!) The hotel is fine. Looking a bit worn in a few places. The carpet outside our toilet was damp, otherwise the room was spacious for France. Not enough outlets but we made do. Not sure why ice was limited from the empty bar but again we made do. Overall, a good hotel in a great location for walking.

Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, the dining area included a large selection for breakfast, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would like to give special recognition to a Novotel employee (Patricia) who went above and beyond. Upon checking out, I left my iPad at the front desk and didn’t realize it until I was well on my way to Paris by train. We spoke to Patricia by phone and explained that we could get to the Bayeau train station but could not get to and from the hotel in time to catch the train returning to Paris. Patricia graciously agreed to meet me at the station with my iPad at the end of her shift. I am truly grateful! Thank you, Patricia!

Great location in Normandy to see all local attractions. Room clean and comfortable. Costumers service very good. Very happy with heated pool. Brekfast quite pricey €19 for a litte choice of food- lacking salds and poor selection of food for kids.

They had a fabulous breakfast with scrambled eggs and bacon. They had a beautiful pool. The staff was cordial. The room was modern and had a refrigerator. The parking was very easy and the location was easy to get to the beaches.

A two night stay
Very happy with the room & very comfortable beds. The wc was very very small & the basin too low for my wife who is disabled ... see following paragraph. Also, having no shower was difficult but we had a travelling safety handle to allow my wife access to the bath ... the hotel provided a raised seat. However, the Accor Group needs to understand that a Disabled room needs single beds to suit actual physical difficulties & if the disabled person has a helper accompanying them - single beds are critical. Only ONE Disabled room is insufficient for a hotel of 50 or more rooms.

Nice hotel.
Covid makes things Difficult, but they had a great response plan for contact free operations. Breakfast was good, but it would have been nice to have the restaurant open in the evening. My only big complaint was the cost of a beer at the bar. I thought that was a bit much.

Pleasant hotels 20 walk from the centre
Location is 20 minute walk from the centre but quiet with a small pool. Nice bit at oak gardens 5 mins away. Due to COVID then the hotel had limited meal options so we ate elsewhere. Staff were friendly and helpful and even gave my son a teddy bear on arrival which was a pleasant surprise. Oddly, they do charge you for breakfast at check in and then refund you if you don’t have it- never experienced this before. Still waiting for the money to be put back on my card at the time of writing (but it was only 2 days ago we checked out). Overall, pleasant and clean.

Good hotel for a stopover in Bayeaux
Hotel in great position to walk into town centre. Swimming pool warm and inviting. The rooms were small for a family but clean and fresh with opening windows which kept them well aired. The reception staff were efficient. Bar prices very expensive £7 for a glass of panache.

Great stay
The Novotel was a great location for our trip. Close to D-Day beaches, stores and downtown. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The pool and outside area was a great place for our family to hang out.

The Novotel Bayeux was an excellent choice of hotel for us. We only stayed one night, but I would certainly stay there longer any time. The room was clean & tidy. The amenities are excellent. My only concern is that I thought the hot would be closer to the city centre than it was.
