Under Construction

Pros: In this current condition, nothing It was close to our wedding venue.
Cons: Someone should have mentioned the construction.
Location: It was close to our venue
Nothing stating that the hotel was under construction. No running water for hours, then little hot water for showers. Construction noise well into the night. Drywall dust everywhere.

Nice room

The hotel is completely under construction. I’m in construction and when we renovate hotels, they shut it down. The fact that they’re still open blows me away. Looks like bomb went off. With that being said, our room was really nice but the rest of the place was trashed.

Awful construction, the elevator shook our room when it ran. We had to change rooms, just an all around bad experience

Awful experience, horrible hotel.

This hotel is going under heavy construction remodeling and there is no warning about it before booking. When you come in there’s construction workers removing the carpet and ceiling, everything is dusty and the carpet is awfully dirty, the walls are halfway painted, hell even the exterior looks like it had just went through a horrible earthquake.

Cons: New Manager
Elevator DIED. Switched to new room. Very nice room, but no internet and NEW noisy air. Manager - GESSIE, refused to call me back. When checking out- server not friendly, at all.

worst stay ever.

First of all the hotel was been remodel so there was plenty of dust everywhere, elevator didn't work so we had to take the stairs. I called for a late checked out at night and sure enough by 11 am I was getting calls that we needed to get out. The pillows were awful no blankets just 3 sheets, by far the worst stay at any hotel. I wouldn't recommend this place to any one. Seriously a motel 6 would had been more accommodating than this place. It would had been nice to get a heads up about the remodeling when I called hours prior to arriving there. The only positive thing I can say is the young man at the counter was very friendly. Other than that WORST Experience.

Unfortunately this hotel was under major construction so it was an unpleasant site upon check in. However, we had a newly remodeled room that was amazing!!! We were also happy that we couldn’t hear anything in the morning as they began working. I can’t wait to revisit when it’s completed.

I was very disappointed . It had a very funny smell in the evening. Our room door didn’t stay locked had to push hard to get it to lock. Only 2 towels for 2 queen beds .ask for extra towels and got some very thin rag looking towels with a blue strip . Maybe it would be better once works done.

Camarillo Hotel

Pros: Location of the hotel, pool and hot tub were nice.
Cons: Service is extremely poor and management is not available to assist guest with possible safety issues. Safety is a big issue at this time.
We reported water pour into our bathroom from the ceiling light and asked for maintenance to check it out. We were told there was no one from maintenance available after 6pm daily. We were told maintenance would come by in the morning to check, no one came by or asked if everything was okay. So, I asked what could be done for all the inconveniences, staff stated they do not have authority to comp rooms or give credits. I was informed I needed to speak to the General Manager, who was not available until Monday morning around 9 am. We tried to leave our number for him to call, were informed he does not call people back. We were offered to move to another after 7pm the following day to a room that had just been finished being remodeled that afternoon. We have driven out to the hotel to speak with the manager about the lack of service and concern from staff, to find he was still not available. Staff still would not accept our phone for the General Manager to call us.

They cancelled reservation when i put pay at hotel they did not want to look into who i spoke to that would hold my reservation i drove over 300 miles and had no room to check into. Front desk guy was aftican american a huge afro was very rude and dismissive
