We're so glad you enjoyed your visit to Cambridge and your stay at our inn! It was a pleasure having you in our home hear in the heart of Cambridge. I sincerely hope to see you again Jeremy. Your enthusiasm for our fair city is contagious and your sharing your knowledge with the young couple moving here to pursue their doctorates at MIT was so nice to see and I know how much they appreciated it. Thanks for being such a wonderful Ambassador at Large for Cambridge....

Reasonable place to stay very near Harvard

Posted Apr 3, 2017
Pros: The caretaker is excellent.
Cons: Equipment/furnishings may need some upgrades
Location: Harvard, all activities, museums all nearby
I stayed 6 nights. By far the most memorable thing about any location is the people you meet. Byron, who is the resident caretaker, is excellent, and made my stay as enjoyable and as interesting as it could possibly be expected to be. He is an excellent local guide and was very helpful to me in identifying worthwhile places to visit. Also to be recommended is his awareness of and advice provided regarding dietary concerns. Very knowledgeable and down to earth, practical. The room itself, shared bathroom, kitchen, etc, is about as close to an "authentic Boston apartment" living situation as you might expect -- serviceable, but not fancy. However, what really made my stay worthwhile is the kind and intelligent Byron, and this is an unexpected and delightful benefit. Blessings. Stayed March 2017, traveled solo

It was such a pleasure having you stay at our little inn during your recent visit to Cambridge. I hope your presentation at Harvard on technological expertise bears fruit for your company for years to come. You're one of the most interesting guests I've hosted in my time here and that, my friend, is saying something.... I hope to see you back here sometime. Good Luck in all your pursuits.

This quaint Bed and Breakfast is wonderfully located in Cambridge, and the innkeeper, Byron, is a lovely host and a great conversationalist. Highly recommended.

Haunting experience so I left early

Posted Dec 21, 2016
I was expecting a top of the line b&b for the price and instead experienced a dusty, musty, uncomfortable stay. I called after making a reservation and before arriving to ask some questions. Not one answered and no one called back. The room was small, there was nowhere to sit in the room and the common room is a small uncomfortable kitchen. The bed was uncomfortable and the linens were old. There is a shared bathroom with the live in innkeeper. The breakfast was the same every morning-yogurt and a crepe. No protein or bread. The innkeeper was a conspiracy theorist who lectured me for an hour every morning about nazis taking over the USA in the 1960's, about how 9/11 was an inside job, and about how the clintons murdered people in Arkansas. He was invasive and creepy. I had trouble sleeping at night because the house creaked when he walked around and I felt he could walk into the room at any time. I left early and went to an inn down the street where I got what I was looking for .

Perfect location, cozy and friendly!

We are so glad we went with this B&B over a Hotel; felt very homey and cozy. The breakfast was phenomenal and he was very flexible with times to make it in the morning. Felt very relaxed, comfortable, and safe here so will definitely plan on returning. Very convenient location; quick walk to Harvard Square and easy to find. It is on the 3rd floor of the apartment building so just keep this in mind if stairs are not your friend.

A lovely B&B in the perfect location near Harvard.

Posted Nov 9, 2016
Pros: It has the perfect location in the Harvard University area. Close to cafés and a market. It's across from a Rec Center, for my daily lap swimming.
Cons: There's nothing I didn't like. I have stayed at other B&Bs and I'm very happy I discovered this one in my favorite part of Cambridge near Harvard.
Location: Walking distance from Harvard University and all it's museums. There's a Park and a public library across the street. Cafes, and public transportation
My room was nice and I really like that it had plenty of sun light. It faced Cambridge Av. a somewhat busy street, but the noise level is minimum, and every night I had a great night sleep. I had all the things I needed, towells and toiletries, and a beautiful orchid flower in a vase. The staff is amazing: friendly and professional, making sure the guests are comfortable and their needs are met. I would stay here again, and would recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in Cambridge, MA. Thank you Karen and Byron!

Friendliest host ever!

Our host, Byron was very friendly and helpful in all aspects. We had great conversations with him. He cooked healthy breakfast for us, and even helped with our luggage and other info about the neighborhood. If we go back to Cambridge, we will try to stay at this Bed and Breakfast again!

Decent place within easy walking distance to Harvard. Friendly caretaker. Not much space in my room for storing things. Didn't see the other rooms.
