Like a pair of your favourite worn out shoes

Posted Sep 17, 2017
Staff were polite and professional. We seen them working hard to keep everyone happy, including us. However, the facility is letting them and their guests down. The parking was fine. Smokers outside our room on the ground level..we don't smoke. Smoke drifts into air conditioning, so we had to keep ours off. Tub/shower backed up water when you showered, visible urin under toilet lid, loose worn facets. Breakfast area far over crowded in am. On the plus, the sheets you slept between are Snow White clean. While we appreciated the shelter and complimentary breakfast...this building is well worn, and over priced. Management may want to do detail walk through with cleaning staff. Hotel owners must realize this is a growing area, and should rebuild. Excellent location.

Ok for a stop over...wouldn't want to stay long

Old lady at the back counter kinda rude and unprofessional to say the least. Younger girl at front of counter very nice and a pleasure to deal with. Rooms say no smoking but pretty sure someone smoked in our room at some point because we could smell old smoke covered up by some other smell. Beds very comfortable, rooms clean. No elevators, breakfast warm bad but not great. Girl in breakfast area was very nice and helpful

Smoke

Posted Aug 22, 2017
It was a no smoking building, but the last occupants had definitely been smoking in the bathroom. Shame on them.

Tournament weekend stay

Posted Jun 20, 2017 on Hotels
We needed a place to stay for a tournament weekend. Room was comfortable for the four of us. Breakfast was good. Shower water pressure could have been better, but stay for the weekend was quite good

We had a comfortable stay. The property is older, but we lacked nothing and the place is clean.

Get what you pay for

Pros: As above...basic but comfortable. Fine for the price. Good amenities (big fridge/microwave in room) for longer stay.
Cons: Biggest turnoff - needed to vacuum under the beds every now and then. Obvious this was not part of the cleanup routine...
Everything was ok. Staff were pleasant and efficient. Room was ok...beds comfortable, bathroom was clean, with good water pressure in the shower. A large refrigerator and a microwave was good for me, as I stayed 5 days. I could tell by the worn carpet and bedspreads in the room that it was an older hotel, but appreciate the effort on the other things. There is no elevator to the second floor, but the staff was good enough to transfer me to the first floor, which included a sliding glass door out to my car in the parking lot to bring in luggage. The breakfast (included) was basic, appreciated the coffee, juice, muffins, toast, etc, but I didn't like the two choices of hot food (microwave egg patties and sausage patties).
