Great locationPosted Aug 27, 2015
My husband and I stayed here while visiting our daughter who was, attending Cambridge University. She chose the hotel for us. Turned out no only to be the perfect location, but exactly what we needed after touring around Italy and all its glory. We wanted space, openness and familiarity. Fabulous hotel stay!

대학관광과 쇼핑을 한번에.Posted Aug 16, 2015

Lovely hotel in the middle of the city.Posted Aug 5, 2015
Pros: The relaxed, friendly feel about the hotel.
Location: Shops rights next door and restaurants/bars on doorstep too.
Perfectly placed hotel in a lovely city. Pleasantly surprised by hotel when we arrived for folk festival. Hotel is right next to John Lewis and the bus station. Staff very friendly and always got a greeting when walking past the reception desk, whether going out or coming back in. Bar area very good too - relaxing when we had been out all day. Also got to mention how brilliant the local bus drivers were - always smiling and assisting anybody who was not sure where they were going.

WATCH OUT FOR PHONE CHARGES!Posted Aug 5, 2015
Pros: The rooms are clean. They have anything a guest could want. The service at breakfast was very good. Staff is very friendly.
Cons: Disclose the phone rates. My recommendation of this hotel would come with a caution about the phone rates.
Location: There is excellent shopping nearby. The colleges of Cambridge are within walking distance. The railway station is just over 1.6 km. away.
This hotel is centrally located. The staff is very nice. Check-in is seamless. The rooms are well appointed and clean. All what you would expect for a hotel charging these very high rates. What you would not expect from a hotel charging these rates is exorbitant phone charges for the use of the phones in the room. There is a 2.00 U.K. pound connection charge for each call plus a per/minute charge for the call. Easily the charge can reach 20.00 U.K. pounds which you are only told about upon checking out. These charges are not disclosed where they should be--on the phone itself. Rather the information is only referred to (hidden?) in a brochure about the hotel. This brochure might not be seen by a guest until after the guest has made a few calls if the guest sees the brochure at all. Rates this high should be properly disclosed. What was otherwise a very pleasant stay (3 nights from July 28 to July 30) at a high end hotel ended on a decidedly sour note.

Quality hotel, centrally located, great staff.Posted Aug 3, 2015
Location: Close to plenty of restaurants, cafés and bars - as well as the university, of course.
Only stayed for one night, but had a very positive experience. All the reception staff we came into contact with were incredibly nice - polite, friendly and helpful. The room was spacious (a Superior Queen), comfortable and clean. Couldn't hear anything from any adjacent rooms, so also peaceful. The bathroom was very clean too - with nice toiletries and towels provided. Would happily stay here again. (Usually out of price range but found a good deal via Expedia.)

Good location. Valet parking.Posted Jul 27, 2015
Good spot for exploring Cambridge. I was a bit disappointed as the rooms were nice but not as large as looked in pictures on the web site. Also no hairdryers. It was quite expensive but we had a great weekend

Nice quiet hotel in central CambridgePosted Jul 26, 2015
I only stopped over night so didn't really get to experience all of the hotel facilities except for the bar area which was modern and peaceful. My room was a queen's, which was quite compact but comfortable for me and although the hotel is situated in central Cambridge there was no traffic noise. The suite was beautifully clean and elegant, it was I shame I couldn't stay longer to enjoy it more.

Great location, smack in the middle of the city.Posted Jul 10, 2015
We stayed in the 'Executive King' bedroom and the size was good. Bed, pillows, sheets, and towels were of very good quality. The mini fridge in the room was useful. The availability of water, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and biscuits was sufficient. Breakfast buffet was good and varied, but unfortunately on our last two days out of four, the delicious toasted muesli was not available. Checking in and out was smooth and staff was very polite and helpful. The left luggage facility was appreciated. If anything, one minor thing is the provided amenities such as bath gels, shampoo and conditioner could be of a better quality. But in all, I'd pick this hotel again for my future Cambridge visits.
