Not Impressed

Location: Location was OK but the park and ride to Cambridge was 15 minutes drive away. Restaurant was full Sat eve but we found great Italian not too far away
Check in staff were very good. Initial impression was that the hotel was OK. Unfortunately the bar/lounge and restaurant did not meet our expectations expected of a 4 star hotel. Constantly met with spa day females wanderings around bare footed with at best bathrobes and in some cases just towels wrapped around them. Most unpleasant as they left wet chairs behind then for other guest to sit on unknowingly. Breakfast was disorganised and chaotic with insufficient staff. Waited for at least ten minutes to order tea/coffee. Good was either undercooked or baked so hard it was inedible.

I am sorry to read that Spa guests were in such attire, there is a dress code, however I will reiterate to the Team to ensure this is in future adhered to. The Belfry is a very comfortable and pleasant stay

Pros: The Belfry was perfect for an overnight stay. Unfortunately we could not make full use of the Spa facilities
Cons: Nothing that we were aware of.
Location: Had we had more time to spend I am sure we would have found plenty to explore. Perhaps next time.
The hotel was most comfortable with all the amenities we required to make our stay a pleasant one. We found the reception very welcoming and the restaurant staff extremely helpful. The bedroom was very clean as was the bathroom and had all the features we have come to expect. We should be happy to return some day.

Location: Cambridge is Cambridge, for heaven's sake. If you can't find something to interest you there, you are a global dumkopf.
Pleasant approach. Check-in efficient and quick despite the entire US army arriving at the same time. Room clean and in good order. Room servicing next day was not done by 4.30 pm, which was inconvenient. Breakfast room was pleasant with plenty of space - good fruit salad, bog-standard cooked options. Good value for money. We shall use this hotel again.

Quiet Location

Pros: Reception staff on check in, happy, smiling and polite.
Cons: Restaurant food is only average
Location: Quiet location, good parking, not to far to visit The Imperial War Museum Duxford or the American Cemetery
Good size room, a bit tired, bathroom had bath and small shower, both areas need a spring clean.

Excellent hotel, food and facilities

Our stay, 14 & 15 Oct 2016, was an excellent experience. The staff throughput the hotel are fantastic, in particular, Daisy on reception and the night manager who again was on the reception desk (didn't get his name). Their attention to detail and their willingness to go the extra mile was amazing. Food and service in the restaurant and bar was of the highest standard. Would recommend this hotel and give it maximum star rating

Hotel staff brilliant - well equipped gym - great break fast - after a couple of visits to Resturant they knew who I was and what my preference were.

Needs someone to care about it!

Very tired hotel which needs a refurbishment - we were allocated a room which we just could not get cool even with moderate outside temperatures. Hotel supplied noisy fans which hardly helped. Corridors were partially blocked with excess tables, chairs etc and meeting room debris (glasses, bottles etc) left in corridor for the two days of our stay - certainly distasteful and probably dangerous. Breakfast was the highlight good selection well cooked and very efficient
