Lobby nicer than room

Great location, close to beach and ticket sales booth (for activities and bus fares). Also close to many restaurants. However, we went for the half board, and found the breakfast really good, but the suppers were so-so, and the drinks are not included (not even the water)! There was a mini fridge in the room, but it is extra and goes on a daily rate. It is kept locked unless you pay for its rental. Otherwise we were 4 (2 adults, 2 kids), and found the standard hotel room tight. Wasn't very much room left to move around. Also, no beach towels available at the hotel, had to purchase beach towels. Cambrils is a nice area, lots to do. Recommend visiting Roman ruins in neighbouring Tarragona.

Make sure that you do not have to sleep with the window open! If you do not the noise from the train is ok. The location is close to the beach. Staff friendly and helpful.

Noise

The hotel itself is quite nice but the dining room for evening meal is a complete free for all - far too busy - cold food - no input or advice from staff and too many uncleared tables resulting in a horrible smell of leftover food. The reception staff are not friendly and the room I had which was on the second floor was near a very busy, noisy road. I would never book this hotel again.

SUUUUUPER location and view from the restaurant and the balkony. Small but very nice villages: Salou and Cambrils .I' d do it again

Good value for money but a lot

Good value for money but a lot of noise from the street and you could hear the people in the room next to us snoar. Very friendly and efficient staff. Everyone could speak English and French.

Privé de piscine

Tout s'est passé conformément à nos attentes sauf que quelques goutes de pluie ont suffi à faire fermer la piscine sans explication, le maître nageur l'a décidé ainsi... à l'hôtel pour une nuit seulement nous avons trouvé cela assez irrespectueux. Dommage le reste était bien.

Hotel para reformar

Este hotel está bien situado pero las instalaciones están anticuadas y necesita una reforma de las habitaciones . La limpieza de las habitaciones es escasa, y la cama supletoria ruidosa y muy incómoda! La piscina y la animación están bien con un pequeño bar en ella . No volvería.

Nos es grato anunciar que este año una vez acabada la temporada se inicia el proyecto de reforma de las habitaciones del Cesar Augustus. Su última reforma fue entre 2004-2006 que se reformaron todas las habitaciones, la planta baja y piscinas.
