"Communication could have been smoother for an after hours arrival that was noted in the booking, but check in was super easy when we got there. Place was tidy and had everything in the description. Comfortable (firm) mattress. Parking was incredibly convenient and easy. Lost key charge is $100, which is excessive."

"Our room was delightful. King size bed, refrigerator, microwave and walk-in shower (my wife and I are in our 70’s), and lots of privacy. My biggest and only problem was an issue with our dog- spending one night with us. We ended up paying a $75.00 fee for the priviledge. Our booking of the room was through Expedia.com. They told us the fee would be $35.00. I was very upset and possibly might not stay again with our beloved pet. Yes, he’s is an emotional support (not service)dog- but is our comfort when a hug or fun is needed."

"I enjoyed the view from my room and location in general. We could walk right out to beach and there was also a pool. The hotel was very close to Carova Beach...maybe a 10 minute drive. Also there was a basic breakfast in the morning which saves money and time to start your day"

"The property is a bit dated but the staff and the friendly gentleman that prepares the breakfasts make up for it! The dock leading to a gazebo with the hammock swing was my favorite feature. The Sound catches beautiful sunsets and that spot was perfect to watch it. The light house and historic bath house can be seen there as well. My stay was short- but I plan to go back!"

"Great place to stay we actually got room service every day and we stay at a hotels a lot and normally don’t give them to you. The beds were very comfortable and amazing water pressure."

"Missed pizza crust near the AC, but room satisfactory otherwise. New TV did not work as it couldn't bypass the setup menu. Staff was quick to remove and replace with another unit. Stay and rest was otherwise pleasant and peaceful.!"

"The beach is close enough to walk to. You can literally sit on the couch and watch the waves on the beach. Wild horses were regular visitors in the area. It was a great place for our family vacation."
