Remodeling was a little inconvenient due to elevator being out, but it worked out. Really need to put a sign at road entrance. Would miss it if I did not already get directions from a family member.

Family Reunion

Posted Aug 15, 2016 on Hotels
Every year, we always stay at this Comfort Inn when we go home to Arkansas for our family reunion. As soon as we walked through the front door, my daughter said that the place had been remodeled and upgraded. The front desk clerk verified that the hotel is under new management. We met the new owner, and he was very nice. He was walking the rooms to make sure everything was done correctly, cleaning. Everyone was great, nice and friendly, and the breakfast was amazing! All but one of my family members stayed here this trip, and it is now our hotel of choice when we come back.

2 Rooms: 1 was great, the other was not.

Pros: Friendliness of staff
Cons: Paint / finishing touches
Location: Unsure, as this was a business trip.
We stayed here on a business trip, so we had 2 rooms. Our room was very nice - everything was just right (except I thought there was always a sofa in a "suite"). Our associates' room, however, had no outlet covers around the bathroom vanity and had a large drip stain down the wall. This was pretty irritating, considering we paid $150 per night for these rooms (because there were not many options in the town). We've had many 4 star hotels with wonderful rooms for much less than this, so this was frustrating. In addition, we were told the hotel over-booked, so their room was supposedly upgraded. OTHERWISE, breakfast was nice, the hotel staff was very friendly, and everything was clean and neat.

Camden 160120

All is good at the Comfort Inn in Camden. The front desk folks are very helpful and handled the miscommunication between Hotels.com and the motel quite well (did not have our reservation on record when we arrived). Of course, we would have preferred the King room we reserved.
