Well located in middle of Camden

Posted Aug 24, 2015
Pros: Could walk to harbor and main street in five minutes
Cons: Would have liked option/advice to get ground floor room versus long stair to first floor
Location: Camden restaurants, harbor, shopping right there
Room was not ready at almost 4:00. Staff was very nice but hotel a bit tired and airconditioner was loud.

Great location. Over priced

Posted Aug 23, 2015
Bathroom door didn't close properly, wallpaper torn in bathroom, main stairway carpet stained, suitcase stand couldn't open all the way too close to bathroom door. Sink had a large crack in it. Cost w/o taxes was over $ 200 . Inn offered no food or snacks of any kind. Not even to purchase. We have stayed in many other inns or b and b,s in the area that were a much better value .

Abergo in zona centrale, ma

Posted Aug 16, 2015

Read this. It's WAAAY overpriced

Posted Aug 8, 2015
Pros: It was clean and fairly quiet.
Cons: Read the list above.
Location: Camden is a nice town, but so are lots of towns along the Maine coast.
We had room #6. Ceiling sheetrock seams were popping. Wallpaper was peeling. 2 of 4 plantation shutters were broken. Carpet was bleach stained near the sink. Mattress was way too soft and sagging. The bed frame was the kind you get free from a mattress company. Light streamed in on all four sides of the door, bright enough to make sharp shadows. The bedside tables were badly scuffed. The two over-stuffed chairs looked like they were bought at a flea market. One other chair was stuck in the corner up under an overhanging TV set. No elevator which is especially an issue if you are on the third floor. When I gave them this list at check-out they just said it was priced based on demand. We were in better and nicer places for about the same cost or less in Bar Harbor and downtown Manhattan and overlooking The Bay of Fundy. It's the first hotel I've ever stayed in across many years where I felt ripped off and cheated.

The innkeeper was extremely hospitable and provided an excellent dining recommendation. Enjoyed the 24 hour lounge and coffee bar.

Steps steps and more steps

Nice inn for location it was an easy walk to everything. Carpet in lobby was wet with a musty smell and the carpet on the stairs was dirty. If you stay in a King room you will have three sets of stairs to carry you belonging up and down.

Charming inn close to favorite ice cream shop

Posted Aug 1, 2015
Pros: The location was excellent, and the room was very comfortable. Overall, the inn was charming.
Cons: Was surprised by the lack of an elevator, and by the fact that the lobby was not manned 24 hours. One morning the one staff person was late.
Location: Can buy groceries and wine close by, and have a nice picnic in the park, while only walking 4 blocks to do it. Many good lobster cafes close by.
Spent two days in Camden. Most everything you want to do is within a short stroll of the inn. Enjoyed morning coffee, nicely equipped lobby.

The inn is quiet, rooms are clean, some of the carpet needs replacing. Close to the shops and to the bay. Wish They had breakfast

Great place to stay with young children.

Posted Jun 22, 2015
The rooms are huge and we never once heard noise in the hall or from other rooms which was a relief when our kids were napping. There are nice flat screen TVs, comfortable beds and room to move around. We really enjoyed visiting Mt Battie and looking at the beautiful scenery in the area.
