Hotel was clean and classy if a little bit tired in places. Our room (deluxe), which they very kindly upgraded at check in without solicitation had a four poster and was very spacious for a London room. The en-suite was the only aspect that let it down a little (chipped tiles, average shower), still, as I say, overall a very nice space. We had lunch on arrival in the restaurant which was excellent. The food& wine were good value for money and the staff unpretentious and friendly without being overbearing. All in all for the price we paid I am more than satisfied. On our dates, the alternatives in the same price range were Holiday inn& other well known chains in much rougher locations. I would absolutely recommend Y&A for a short stay.

We were very pleased with the help we received from staff members with a couple of problems (nothing to do with the hotel) that we had. They were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We would certainly recommend this hotel.

Extremely welcoming and helpful staff, especially Galena, rooms, bedlinen, towels and en-suite very clean. Breakfast was self serve cereal, taost. tea/coffee, juices....iced water was a nice gesture ......adequate to start the day. Could not have wished for a more convenient location, although lots of traffic noise 24/7 this was blocked out by the excellent curtains, room radiator had to be turned off though. Overall a good place to stay for a few days Touristing

My second stay at this hotel. The only things that I am not happy with is the area - on another stay with another hotel in the area my motorbike was stolen after it was only once parked on the road for a few hours - and the wifi has significant drop outs. Still, with the wifi being functional for more than two third of my stay it scored better than most hotels for that price in the area, in fact I know only one hotel that has better wifi and another one that's the same as good.
So if you don't rely on wifi and don't arrive on two wheels I would fully recommend this place.

Basic accommodation, but friendly staff...completely unphased by our request for veggie breakfast. Free off road parking in a nice quiet area. Only real negative was that our shower didn't heat up properly.

One night trip to attend nearby gig in Kentish Town (O2 Forum). Belushi's bar on the ground floor had a good menu & offered 25% off for residents. I had some sort of Jack Daniels burger & chips which was very filling (less than £8). Euro championships were on and the bar had big screen TVs. Bar closed at 12. Bunk beds were clean as were the shared toilets/shower. Chill out room in basement and laundry too (I didn't use these). Staff were friendly & helpful. 24 hour access. Would return in future.
