The hotel is amazing - checkin process needs help

Posted Apr 21, 2018
The hotel is spectacular! The checkin process was lacking and not thorough. Upon checking in I’d like to be provided with information about events, amenities on site etc. After being here 3 days I receive bed a welcomed me text from the consierge letting me know that I could text them with questions etc. it would have been nice to receive this promptly upon checking in bc in multiple occasions the front desk did not answer the phone.

Landscaping and property overall beautiful rooms?

Posted Apr 18, 2018
Landscaping and property overall beautiful rooms Were dated And loud. However, the beautiful landscape and incredible hospitality staff made up for it in spades. The property itself and it’s grounds are absolutely gorgeous and well-maintained. Valet was prompt courteous and kind. The restaurants were good not great. But again the waitstaff was impeccable. I would definitely recommend and possibly stay in a villa or another type of room the next time The location was absolutely perfect your Camelback Road where everything is centrally located in the Biltmore mall made our stay very convenient and enjoyable

Beautiful hotel but not premium

Posted Apr 17, 2018
The Phoenix Biltmore is a gorgeous building and grounds that recalls the glamour of an earlier era. The good: the grounds are imaculate, the staff universaly friendly and helpful. I did not meet a person from the front desk to the grounds keeper who did not greet me with a hello and a smile. The wonderful building is well presented and the newer additions- conference areas and additional rooms are respectful of the historic character. There were a few areas where timely exterior maintenance would be beneficial - missing mortar or small cracks but I'm perhaps too critical ( I'm an architect.) The fitness center, spa, tennis courts, and pool are first rate and worthy of a luxury hotel. The not so perfect: Our room was comfortable and spacious. It was clean, the carpet new, the linens and amenities as expected. Minor things such as loose bath accessories and a cold water tap loose in its tap detracted from the experience. Overall feel was more a nice business hotel than a luxury resort. The prices charged didn't match up with the experience. Dinner at Frank and Albert's ($100 including tip) was underwhelming. The chicken was barely done and neither my companion or I thought the food matched the menu description. Overall I rate it as okay, but not the premium hotel it purports to be.

Beautiful grounds

The resort is beautiful in every way but there were two issues. One was just the over priced food and not a lot of variety. And second was they used the cheapest toilet paper and tissues possible. Made the place look cheap.

Beautiful property

Posted Apr 9, 2018
Beautiful property We stayed here for a short break from the Midwest called. The property and staff were lovely. My only concern was our roof and not get to clean until the late afternoon. This is not usually a problem except I wanted to take a nap. Overall, I would highly recommend of property we look forward to going back again.

Mixed bag

Posted Apr 7, 2018
Pros: Property and people. Can't say enough good things about how cool the staff was.
Cons: Approach to handling transporting. Open water slide, bar and kitchen earlier and leave open later.
Location: Next to great hike and central to Camelback and others. This hotel is not in "resort area" like some others but ideal if you have a car.
Great staff, very courteous and professional. Grounds were beautiful and very well kept. Great location, pretty central and easy access if you are leaving the resort for other activities. Service carts were run on sidewalk next to my room until very late each night (seriously like 2:00 AM). As opposed to taking routes around the rooms or using larger carts with big wheels and casters, they used the standard issue plate holders, hot carts etc. and ran directly under guest windows....a lot. Also, again the property is great, there are better options for sure if you have kids. Kids area not great, slide was a hit but the hours are very limited and they close it early.

Great resort hotel

Posted Apr 6, 2018
Everything was perfect about Biltmore Phoenix except the parking experience. If you want to do self parking, the hotel will charge you $12 every day. The garage was a long walk from our room and it was difficult to find your building for the first time.
