It is out of town and by the ocean. They also have a security guard on the property which makes it feel safe.

Noise through the walls likely cause me not to return.. guests not respectful of quite..even after midnight. Did not enjoy being woken at 1.30am ...ive stayed here a few times but likely try find something mire peaceful..kniw thatvit is located next to a noisy road...traffic till late and early mornings.

Richard and the rest of the staff here have been absolutely amazing during our stay. We ended up having to extend a few days and they were so accommodating. The view is absolutely breathtaking. I’ll definitely be back when the weather warms up a bit so I can take more advantage of the green space and beach.

We booked for two nights and because of WestJet changing our flight itinerary we were only able to stay for one night. Ocean Resort only charged us for one night which is excellent customer service

Great place with a awesome view of a beach and the coastal mountains. Basic room clean and tidy. Staff were very nice from the minute we arrived, coffee available 24 hr/day in the lobby. we enjoyed our stay!

The property was very nice. It was quiet and clean and had a good size fridge for food storage. The only drawback was an uncomfortable mattress. It was almost too firm to be comfortable for more than 1 night. But every thing else was fantastic.

You need to be on an upper floor for any actual ocean view, (the building is behind treed dunes) but it does have direct access to the beach. Rooms were clean, smooth check-in and out. Good place.

I got off to a bit of a bad start when the lady at the desk said I still had to pay, even though I paid online. She explained it all to me and I came to an understanding, but there was a bit of friction about it. Not blaming the lady at all, but it happened. The room smelt fresh and it appeared very clean. The bed and pillows were super comfy, the room was basic. I had a ground floor room facing the parking lot. I didn’t mind that. I loved that I could open the room window and get some of that beautiful fresh air. My complaint is, the neighbours were very loud and just as I was getting ready to drift off for a relaxing sleep, I was snapped out of it by the noisy loud talking, noise making, door slamming neighbours. To the point where I banged loudly on the wall twice and yelled shut the….. Not the properties fault and no one was on sight. My gripe here is, if it’s off season, your hotel motel is nowhere near full, why not give a single occupant a room with a space in between the rooms. This was off season, I went for peace, and ended up getting annoyed. I get it, it’s easier to manage if everyone is bunched together. But let’s be aware of the fact that it’s off season and people most likely chose an out of the way place like this to relax. Give some of us some space. Especially if you want us to come back.

I am truly sorry you had a bad experience during your stay, The technical issues with the rooms was an unfortunite issue with our online software, our deepest appoligies for that. We were unaware of any plumbing issues as we do not belive you told anyone what the issue was and what had happened so we could address the issue immediatly. Soundproofing is an ongoiing issue in many hotels and also many other guests do not always respect others and keep the noise to a minimal level. Letting the front desk or the on call caretaker know about noise issues immediatly is best so that they can address the noise issues is best. Feel free to reach out to us directly if you wish.

The hotel is located on the beach. Lovely area outside to enjoy the ocean and the mainland mountains. Friendly staff. Clean rooms and 24 hour coffee available.

We enjoyed this property very much. It’s very clean, quiet and comfortably. We also feel safe in the area. The live-in manager is very caring and accommodating. He tries to make us feel like a second home. All staffs are nice and friendly. This is the third time we stayed here, and many more to come.

I very clean, minimal accommodation. It’s about 10 minutes south of Campbell River but I found the oceanside drive calming at the end of the day. Very good price and friendly staff. I booked 2 different work trips here and would book again in the future.
