Below average, far to expensive...

Posted Oct 22, 2016
Pros: The location was convenient for me.
Cons: Too expensive....a bit of a tired place
Location: Campbellton is a bit of a weathered and tired town....I was there only as a jump off to the Gaspe Peninsula.
A bit of a worn down hotel in a bit of a worn down town. Location was good, but the overall condition of the place and the small basement room (because that was essentially what I had) was far to expensive for the limited value.

Thank you for your comments. Campbellton is a beautiful city, the view the water and the mountains, every time I come back home I say how beautiful it is.

Rude Staff. Room not cleaned all weekend.

Posted Oct 3, 2016
Pros: The bedding was nice. Pillows flat though.
Cons: The hotel needs a complete overhaul.
Friday we called for a cot. We were advised it would get done when it gets done. Very rude. Saturday hotel room not cleaned. We left the room by 11:00 am until 1:00 nothing done. When we inquired I was advised "we tried to tell you that it would not be cleaned" No discussion of that matter happened at all. When I protested I got a sigh and "so what do you need clean towels?" Well of course! Unreal. My husband called to ask about a late check out for Sunday and he was rudely advised that the cleaning staff leaves at 1 and if we ant our room clean we should leave by 10:00 am. We left the room by 10 came back at noon. Room still not cleaned! Towels Piled. The hot water is hit or miss. The bathtub did not drain. The Air Quality was terrible. Very old. No elevator.

Very sorry about your stay. When my employees when to your room, they were told that you didn't need housekeeping, people sometimes prefer not to have it. On departure day, the employees only do the rooms after the people have left. I will pass on your comments to my employees

Excellent hotel. The wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay except that the hotel is not handicap friendly as it has no elevators.

Good location

Posted Aug 21, 2016
Pros: The location, the pool
Cons: Found that it was a bit pricy...
Location: You can walk to many things. close to everything.
We went to visit with family and stayed at the Super 8 so the kids could play in the pool. Overall good hotel, nothing fancy but it had everything we needed.

Good enough

Posted Apr 20, 2016
It was just barely good enough...drunk folks outside my door until after midnight, no little toiletries except two soaps in the room...had to locate someone to refill bowls in breakfast room and not much left to pick from at 8 am which is still pretty early. For $110 per night, they may want to lessen the price to match the accommodation.

No excuse for running out of Froot loop. Our breakfast is usually full till the end. There is sometimes big groups coming all at once but someone should have been there to replenish. My apologies

noisy heater in room

Posted Oct 29, 2015
The staff were very nice and the hotel was clean, but when I turned on the heater is was so noisy that you could not sleep. I had to shut it off in the night and the room became very cool. I did tell the front desk and they said they would have someone look into it.
