A great at the south edge of the city

Campeche deserves to be seen and the location of the Holiday Inn makes that happen. it is situated on the main drag on the south side of the city (though at some distance away from the attractions of the Old City). The accommodations were good, the buffet breakfast was great, and the sightseeing was fabulous. Would go there again and would stay here again in a minute.

Great hotel with a view of the Gulf

Stayed here on a return trip. The view of the Gulf of Mexico from our balcony was excellent, and we saw the fishermen going out to sea as we woke up. The room was very clean and well maintained. The bathroom was a bit on the small side for a Holiday Inn, but the room and bathroom were very clean. The breakfast was probably the best hotel breakfast buffet I've ever had. The eggs were not preprepared, but were made to order when you went to the buffet line. All of the staff were extremely helpful and nice. We will stay again at this hotel when we return this way.

Only issue was upon check-in the front desk issued a room that was occupied. I had to return to be issued another.
