"The staff were very friendly and helpful. However, the property would benefit from a dedicated maintenance person to address ongoing issues, including cracks in the walls, peeling paint, mold in the shower grout, and a toilet that clogs easily."

"Nice hotel, they have fire pits outside which are a nice touch. Hot water for the showers was hit and miss, I think if you happen to shower at the same time/ after other guests then you miss out on the hot water which is disappointing. But otherwise great hotel"

"Very quaint hotel, not for someone who wants every modern convenience but a find for those of us looking for a homey feel and ambiance. Raised floor in the bathroom, water pressure took a while to get going, and the parking was a challenge for me but a good night's sleep in an historic venue in downtown White River Junction. The folks at the front desk were very helpful and personable."

"Property was fine for a mid tier hotel. The ground level floors on the way to only elevator were being renovated so there was an intense smell of paint. Additionally, housekeeping staff could be more diligent. Minimal effort to clean room. Sheets weren’t changed, beds just haphazardly made. Used wash cloth left behind balled up in shower (not even where we left it!). The furniture wasn’t dusted even when we deliberately put away our belongings so she may clean more thoroughly after 1st night. Overall, an okay stay."
