Pros: Great staff.
Cons: Include breakfast in the room charge.
Location: Excellent.
Excellent visit and was close to all facilities. Fabulous restaurants and shopping.

Luxury hotel - more Asian than European quality

Luxury hotel quality which is more Asian (larger and higher standard) than European. Great river views and nice luxury feel to the hotel (used to be Four Seasons). More for business Travellers than tourists given location by the business district but it has great transport links to West End. Only 'weakness' is not much atmosphere in bar or restaurant area. Staff are great and gave me a late checkout 3pm which is rare nowadays.

Disappointing

Upon arrival we were informed that the spa/pool facilities were available however a short walk to another building was required. We then retired to our room to find no coffee/tea making facilities. A lovely room, large with a very comfy bed however stretching the "room with a view". Yes it had a window, facing the main road and tower block in front, little misleading compared to the "thames view" on the room with a view photo! Breakfast was also interesting - 15 minute wait for cup of tea. Coffee didn't arrive until after breakfast was finished. Asked 3 times if we wanted refreshments! Table not set, no plates or bowls for self service. No eggs, mushrooms cold. Breakfast was offered complimentary without the need for complaint as staff were embarrassed, if not very polite. They certainly wanted to help but obviously no leadership or direction-all running around, achieving very little. All in all a disappointing visit.

As we can see you have booked a Standard King Room which is facing Canary Wharf and the Business Area. Rooms facing the River Thames, start from Deluxe King, where rates are slightly higher. Regarding the breakfast experience we have logged this during your stay and that this was offered complimentary along with some drinks at the our Bar. I would hope that you can return to the hotel on a separate occasion and allow us to show you the amazing service and standards we pride ourselves on. Very surprising stay!

I've booked this hotel to celebrate anniversary with my boyfriend. I've also had a special request to have my room at the top floor. Wonderful staff - manager of the hotel, made us feel very special on our anniversary and gave us as much information about the hotel and area that we couldn't have asked for. He let us stay until 2pm, because of our special day and also we found a cake in our room saying "Happy anniversary", which again - made us feel very special! Spa area is the best I've ever been in hotels before. I've never experienced such a wonderful surprising stay and I must admit that I love travelling ! I can recommend this hotel to everyone and I am hoping to go back there very soon!

Who charges for snacks in a £224 room!?

Was charged extra for breakfast despite paying £224 for a breakfast included! Terrible customer service. Pricing for snacks in the room was also hidden so was unaware of charges for that.

Give the breakfast a miss

Beautiful room great staff Severely let down by the kitchen. Almost raw eggs. I did complain. I was still charged full expensive price for a breakfast that i would not serve to my dog.
