"Great hotel ..a little far away!"
I recently stayed there for business. My business was in the Canary Wharf area so this hotel was very well situated relative to where I was going to work. However, the distance to Central London and the lack of tube stations make traveling to the city a bit of a hassle. Uber worked well for us but we ended up paying between 18 and 25 pounds depending on traffic. That is really my only complaint: the hotel is very nice, the food is very good...actually the club sandwich is exceptional and the service of the staff was outstanding. Filip in particular at the front desk was very friendly and engaging. We became fast friends and he even helped me get a later check out because my flight left at 10pm and I did not want to wander the city with my luggage so he arranged a later check out for me!

Pocket Guide: London Canary Wharf Carlson Business Hotels

London’s 21st-century waterside business district, Canary Wharf is best known for its cutting-edge architecture, including the 50-storey obelisk-shaped skyscraper, One Canada Square. Get there by the Docklands Light Railway, with elevated tracks giving wonderful views into a world of glass and steel. By contrast, historic Greenwich, home to the National Maritime Museum, is just across the Thames. A foot tunnel links the two.
