Centrally located

Pros: Well appointed hotel, good choice of equipment in the gym, very comfortable beds and fresh, good quality linen
Cons: Placing the card swipe machine at the entrance to the carpark to a more convenient position. I needed to get out of the car to swipe my card.
Easy to get to, very centrally located, and good amenities. Easy access to the lift from the carpark, I would stay in this hotel again.

Nettes Hotel beim Parlament

Pros: Das Personal an der Rezeption ist extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ungeachtet der Größe des Hauses wird man schnell und zuverlässig bedient.
Cons: Es handelt sich um ein großes Haus, dem Intimität und persönlicher Service fehlt.
Location: Das Hotel liegt in Laufweite des Parlaments, auch die Innenstadt kann man von hier zu Fuß erreichen. Perfekt für einen Ausflug nach Canberra.

Outdated and Old - not 4 star

Pros: Bed was comfortable & staff were friendly
Cons: -Needs a facelift bad! -Cleanliness outside rooms/ hallways and glass
Staff are very friendly but the hotel is very old and hasn't been updated, stains on carpet, balcony door didn't lock, toilet water was running. Much better places for the money

Pros: Nice room, short walk to near by shops ... nice restaurant
Cons: Couldn't find/work the AC ... so it got a bit hot in the room over night
Location: Manuka shops lots of food places easy walk

Beautiful but old

Good hotel but needs renovation. Cleanliness needs to improve. We had spilled stains all over a bathroom wall. Beautiful garden. Slow internet. Good breakfast.

Pros: Room was comfortable and very quiet.
Cons: Disappointed with limited dinner options over the long weekend and the bar was closed.
Location: Located in the business district so not close to local attractions. Short walk to Manuka.
Pleasant hotel. Well equipped gym and good sized pool.

Location: GOOD RESTAURANTS WITHIN 10-20 MINUTE WALK THROUGH A NICE SUBURB AND ACROSS A PARK.
SPACIOUS ROOM, COMFORTABLE BED AND GENERAL FACILITIES OK. LACKED A GOOD BAR AREA POOL AND GOOD GYM

Close to the capital, walking distance to shops

Great hotel with very friendly staff, good facilities and fantastic rooms and beautiful breakfast buffet. However, avoid room 171 as its wall shares a wall with the public toilets for the bar area and you are kept awake with doors closing, taps turning on and off, and the worst is the hand dryer that makes tons of noise- then to top it off, the cleaner comes in at 5 am and wakes you up cleaning. After explaining this to management, they were sympathetic to my concerns and did compensate.

Relies on location with trying too hard

Pros: This visit the TV worked rather than static, which was an improvement.
Paint splashed on the curtains, dripping taps in the bathroom so had to close the door to sleep. Room service curry dinner included 3 very small mouthfuls of chicken and a lot of rice for $28 and a lake of oil around the papadams. The bed was on a strange raised platform that hinted of an X rated movie.
