My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at TRS Coral. They property is stunning and the staff are very hospitalable and helpful. It was our first time traveling to Cancun and they made it really easy to navigate all their resources and facilities during our stay. This isn't necessarily a criticism, but what we noticed during our stay is this resort seems to be more popular with older or middle aged couples. The pools and beach were practically empty after 5, even though the sun was still up. We were often a bit confused, as many days we'd come back after our excursions to relax by the beach or pool, and they were empty. We felt the resort is not as lively. This may be something others may enjoy, but I wouldn't recommend this place to someone looking for for a party vibe. Lastly we got the swim up room, but honestly felt it wasn't worth it as the water was extremely cold so when we did use it in the evenings, it was uncomfortable; again, a personal preference. The food is good, nothing extraordinary but we did particularly like the breakfast buffet and Thai restaurant. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would strongly consider revisiting or recommending to others. But we would let people know it is not a lively resort compared to others possibly.
