NOT what we expected

First of all, I did not realize that this was WAY off the path to the hotel zone. It is a $25 fee ONE WAY if you want to do anything over by hotel zone. This hotel is located on a marina so the beach is pretty non-existent and there's a LOT of seaweed. The hotel itself is very small. Really only 1 restaurant you can eat at. The other 2 you need to make reservations each day for. The outdoor eating food was utterly terrible. The room was VERY old. The shower flooded every single day, even with daily and hourly complaints to the staff. They would say they fixed it, but we would have the same problem again. Plus the shower is very old, so the water comes out of the tub all over the bathroom floor. Makes it very difficult to use. They offered to switch our rooms, but all the rooms apparently are pretty much the same. We would have the same issues, just on a different floor. No sense in moving for that. The staff was not very helpful with us. It seemed after awhile, they just stopped wanting to help us at all. It makes us sound like complainers, but with a dirty room they had to come back and clean, plus the bathroom issues, we were not happy at all. If you like seclusion and don't care about going anywhere for activities, this may be good for you.
