Decent hotel on the beach

We had the all inclusive ocean view deluxe. It was okay. The AC was poor and barely doing anything. There aren't that many outlets to plug in to. The bathroom has no ventilation. The food at the hotel isn't great at all. Though the view is spectacular. Most of the staff are nice and say hello/hola, which I appreciate. The bartenders are pretty cool. And the location of the hotel is perfect for walking.

Wouldn't stay here again

Poor and rude customer service upon arrival staff at check in was very rude , air conditioner in my room was not working and after 3 calls to front desk it wasn't fixed so I gave up and suffered with no a/c

Middle of hotel zone. Next to beach

Tile floors. Hate tile floors. Bath tub drain slow. Ankle high in water when taking shower. Sheer shower curtain does not block water. Water all over your toilet paper and toilet after shower. Wondered why there was drain outside of shower. Tried to save maid service so I called front desk to get fresh towels only. Waited for towels but never came. Called desk again but still did not come. Had to leave for excursion. Towels came when we were gone but only the 4 large towels. No hand towels,medium towel or floor towel. Forget calling them again. No pen in room or from front desk. Pad of paper with no pen. Tried the buffet 1st night which was limited and horrible. Live and learn you get what you pay for. Would not recommend to anyone.

The staff was very rude

We didn't have no electricity in our room for 2 hours they didn't accommodate us give us another room or anything then they're trying to sell you a timeshare then they tell you they're going to enter you in a contest and if you got this number you won but the number is the same everyday the food is disgusting I truly recommend going to another hotel this place is a rip off and they don't clean your room everyday

Close to the beach but......

This hotel is close to the beach but lacks so much for being called all inclusive. Beware coffee is not served until 7am when the breakfast opens up. You do not have coffee in your room either. All inclusive should include bottled water free it states, this was not the case you might get a bottle free the first day then you have to buy it from their store. The cups are small which will have you running around for a drink more than relaxing especially since there is no bar on the beach and the closest one is some times closed! The ladies never smile but most of the bartenders are in good spirits. If you go for a massage $65 for 50 minutes consider the location! Right next to the kids pool and play ground it was a great massage but could not really relax from kiddos screaming. The hot tub was not hot. We were told it was broke sorry. No I would not stay again. Remember to bring all cards to check out. I left our towel cards in the room and had to run all the way back up to give them to the front desk upon check out. Couldn't call our shuttle as it wasn't a local number they said......now I totally wished I stayed at the Hyatt next store beautiful hotel and they raked the beach too.

Pros: Staff, cleanses, amenities, restaurants, customer service, friendly approaches.
Cons: no comments
All staff was very friendly and it made me feel like home.

Nice hotel on beach

Great hotel for the price. Worth the money to upgrade to the all inclusive option. Very nice staff. Nice pools & beach. The pizza place near the pool is very good for lunch. Good location, close to shopping & bus stop.

Reasonable Facility, good price.

This resort was probably built in the 1980s and is maintained fairly well, but not as nice as the newer facilities in the area. The room rate is also half (or less) than the newer places. Unlike the other hotels on the beach with names that you would recognize, this place seems to attract mainly Spanish speaking guests from Mexico, Columbia, Brazil, etc. Not that this is a problem if you like to keep to yourself or speak the language. Most of the staff do speak English. The rooms are not sound proofed well at all. The doors have 1/2" gaps under them and no seals at all. You can hear every noise from the hallways, pools, etc. A good pair of foam earplugs are a must. If you're looking for peace and quiet pay the extra rated and go elsewhere. The right side of the beach in front of the hotel is good for swimming but the left side has an undertow. There is a lifeguard stationed on this side. Outback Steak House and Bubba Gump is across the street. A bus stop is in front of the hotel and they are cheap and come by about every two minutes.

Hotel okay location

Cons: Buffet meals should be hot not cool or warm.
Enjoyed our week the staff are friendly & exceptional help from Roberto (bell boy) as we speak no Spanish and some staff spoke some English he helped us and was fluent in English. Food was tasty and good selection out only compliant was the food was cool to warm never hot, recommend they look at their steam tables so work properly. Small issue when they serve wine the red wine should be in a proper red wine glass as it has to breath, not like white wine does. Eating in Alberto's which is part of the all inclusive you can get a wonderful HOT meal and done to perfection.
