Great view

We loved the location of the hotel. Super friendly and helpful staff. Totally recommend for family vacations.

Good hotel

Hotel is beautiful. People are nice. Poolside is awesome with very nice bartenders and DJ. Staff needs to communicate with each other or put notes I'm the computer about issues. Food needs major improvement and better alcohol quality. I know it's all inclusive but the quality of the alcohol in the drinks was not great...also put the beverages in nice cups to make it more appealing.

Nice hotel. Employee, not all are nice.

Concierge employee named Tony is disgusting and shamefull to the hotel. Didnt even help us when the tour driver didnt pick us up.telling they are not their company,instead ask us to go to reception. We had an argument and point his finger on my face. Not what i expected from a good hotel like GR Solaris.Its good one bell boy and Aldo voluntarily help us by calling the Agent using their own cellphone.

GR Solaris

Beach, grounds, bar all positive and nice; it was also sold out but didn't seem at all crowded which was great. Only negative was the food. Lunch was our favorite meal but dinners and breakfast buffet were disappointing.

Nice hotel close to the beach

Hotel was right on the beach, close to the airport, rooms were clean and spacious, staff were awesome, food and drinks were good.

I paid for beachfront and....

I paid for beachfront which typically means you are close to the beach. Sure it was ocean view, but it had a bunch of trees obstructing the view and they put me in the corner with 1 bed even know I requested 4 people. The room was super tiny and the shower was small. Nothing special. When I spoke to the manager they moved me to their deluxe jacuzzi suite which had no ocean view, nor was it beachfront. But at least it was spacious. The cleaning lady totally skipped me one day. The swim up bar was nice and the kids really enjoyed the shows. There was no waitress/waiter at the beach or at the pool.

Very relaxing.

Another great vacation in Cancun! GR Solaris treats you like family. The swim up bar is awesome. The pool games are fun. You can choose to play or just sit back and cheer on. The beach is absolutely beautiful. The staff is very accommodating. Can't wait to come back.

Great hotel for the price

I stayed here for a week with my friend, we took a girls trip away. The hotel is clean, the food was not amazing but it was good. Every night they had a show and dinner, always a different theme. That was so much fun. I loved that it had 2 pools and the beach and water was beautiful. I am planning on going back next year :)

Tried to Upgrade

When we arrived, the gentleman at customer service wanted to "upgrade" us to GR Caribe down the street. Sold it as a great "ocean view room" with free wifi. Before we could think much about it, we said sure. When we got to the other hotel, it was nice enough, however our "view" of the ocean was obstructed and barely visible and the wifi only worked in the lobby. A couple days later we decided to walk down to see GR solaris to see what we were missing and our new hotel was hardly an upgrade. Although we did have access to all three resorts, it appears GR solaris was definitely the nicest. So if you book this resort, don't let them try to "upgrade" you. The food left much to be desired and the bars were limited, so as long as you're not trying to eat 5-star restaurants this was a fine enough place.
