Pros:

Nice hotel with O.K. beach

Posted Jan 19, 2016
Hotel is higher end for Cancun. Location on the point has some advantages with being close to nightclubs/ restaurants in walking distance. Negative - location has beach that doesn't allow for beach walks. Calmer water but sun is blocked by 4:00 P.M. Across the street and along several mile beach sun is out until sunset several hours later. Hotel caters to large groups and depending what group is present has a major effect on atmosphere in hotel and pool area. Food at breakfast is average at best and pool food is mostly of the fried variety, in need of major upgrade. Don't like that they charge for use of gym facilities.

Perfect, except the beach is a bit thin.

Posted Jan 15, 2016
Pros: Everything! the view, the room was huge and awesome with excellent storage and fantastic porch overlooking the pool complex. Amazing. Great bed too
Cons: I honestly can't think of anything. Just great.
Location: Tip of the Hotel Zone, near the action, but never loud or obtrusive. Ferry to Isla Mujeres is right next door.
Loved it! Best part? Not all inclusive! We ate out at fantastic restaurants every night! It was amazing, and so much less than hotels that force you to eat the same food every day.

Never a disappointment. Amazing new Kids Club!

Posted Jan 14, 2016
We stay here every year and this year reminded us why we do. The hotel may not be new and flashy but it is classy and regal. The resort facility is beautiful and the staff are top notch. Service with a smile and going out of their way to be helpful and friendly is the hallmark of the hotel. You can tell there have been some upgrades this year as they spent $2 million on a new kids club that we took a tour of. It is amazing and included for children of guests. There are computer rooms, there is a large kitchen for the kids to bake Mexican fare and pizzas, There are game consoles galore and there is programming to get the kids outside and swimming or playing sports. The staff is wonderful and my 8 year old can't wait to go back and spend all day in the club with the other kids. If you are used to staying at the Four Seasons or other Five Star hotels then you will not be disappointed and not suffer sticker shock, as it is not cheap but you definitely get what you pay for. Also remember . . . . Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach is on the best beach in Cancun and it is gorgeous! Enjoy!

Great Option for Cancun Getaway

Posted Jan 13, 2016
Pros: Great service, very nice beach and pool facilities, outstanding spa
Cons: Overall property, while well maintained, is probably closer to 4.5 star rather than 5 star. Water pressure/shower heads were weak in both rooms.
Location: Walking distance to a number of restaurants, although proximity to the clubs is creating a real problem with traffic at that end of the hotel zone.
Very nice experience in Cancun over the late holidays. Only real hiccup was that our room type was not available at check in so we had to move a couple days into the stay (always a big hassle), but the staff was great throughout the visit. Hotel is large with major conference/convention facilities, which could be a concern for some seeking a more low key, quieter vacation; however, other than the standard scramble for pool chairs, we had no real problems with the crowds once we got past the heavy occupancy days around New Years Day.

Gute Anlage mit Abzügen

Posted Jan 7, 2016
