Don't book this hotelPosted Aug 30, 2015
Pros: Pretty much nothing.
Cons: Service staff and cleanliness.
If you go to Cancun, please do not book this hotel. Besides, having felt that we overpaid for a two day stay, when we checked in everything became hell. The staff has some agreements with the travel agencies in the lobby to sell you yearly hotel packages, promising a bottle of tequila as a "complimentary reward". The food was OK, specially if you reserve in advance. Please avoid the buffet if possible. The room was also OK, but we found cigarette butts in the terrace and the chairs looked like they took them from a waste land. Do yourself a favor and pay a little bit more for a better experience in Cancun.

My family and I enjoyed this hotel.Posted Aug 29, 2015
The hotel was beautiful and particularly suited for families with children. The staff was happy and ready to assist us with everything we needed; true Mexican hospitality. The food was great, clean and appetizing; the restaurant choices included buffets and a la carte (all inclusive). The beach and the pools were great (warm clear water beach and clean pools). The beach was calmed and the deepest end was about 4 feet; perfect for my 3 & 6 year olds. My family and I enjoyed our stay and we would stay at the Grand Oasis Palm again.

Muchas gracias.

kids friendlyPosted Aug 15, 2015
Pros: We loved pretty much everything. The staff was great. The food excellent. The room was always kept clean. We loved all the restaurants we visited.
Cons: Make people make a line while waiting for drinks I noticed that people are not taken care in the order they come in for a drinks. This upsets people.
Location: Location is good and we were able to rent a car and went to visit the Mayan ruins.
We have 3 kids and they had a blast. Lots of activities for the kids. The staff was great. Food was excellent.

Bad experiencePosted Aug 14, 2015
It wasn't the worst place on earth but I won't recommend it to my friends but i guess for the price that's about it ,the food was horrible and the rooms just little above a motel grade but I say one good thing the employees were very helpful and friendly

Stay home and save your moneyPosted Aug 13, 2015
Pros: When I left.
Cons: 150 characters is not enough to list all that need to be improved. See list above in description
Location: Not much as it is remote from the heart of the Hotel Zone in Cancun. There is a real cheesy "Captain Hook" pirate party ship that docks there,
All inclusive = Motel 6 meets Golden Corral buffet. Horrible food. Terrible attitude and service from staff. Furniture worn and falling apart. $10/day per device for internet that is slower than the old AOL dial up speed. Overcrowded. One wing is 10 stories high and has only two elevators that are rated for only 7 passengers each! You end up walking up and down stairs A LOT. Either spend a bit more to avoid this living nightmare or don't go at all. Fire alarm system went off twice in one week where it was a false alarm, yet everyone had to go down to the pool area in the middle of the night. The list of nightmares could fill a novel. Don't waste your money or valuable vacation time on this place.
