Inexpensive Caribbean Getaway

Pros: Location, Easily Accessible Beach, Beautiful Beaches, Great Staff
Location: Dolphin Discovery package with snorkeling and travel by private boat to Isla Mujeres is highly recommended. It was our favorite day!
We went on our first trip to Cancun and selected the Grand Park Royale based on reviews on Trip Advisor and Expedia. It did not disappoint! The buffet food was about average, however, the onsite pizza, taco station, and onsite restaurants were great. The hotel staff was amazing, friendly, and always ready to assist. The cleaning staff was awesome. They kept the rooms clean everyday and everything stocked. We did not upgrade our room from the standard room and loved our view. The whole hotel overlooks the pool and the beach. The hotel is great walking distance to the malls, hotel zone, and nightlife. Overall, we had a great trip and are planning on coming back!

Pros: Tudo! Principalmente o atendimento e qualidade das instalações.
Location: Muito bem localizado, próximo do centro e 30 minutos do aeroporto, fica em uma das melhores partes da praia.
Fomos na lua de mel, ganhamos um baita upgrade, hotel muito bonito, ótima localização, funcionários muito atenciosos e prestativos, comidas boas e drinks também. Perto de tudo e desconto em passeios fechando direto no hotel.

Nice view but not for young children.

Nice pool and beach. Buffet was also good. But Noisy at night. Bathroom was small. No children restaurants(dinner)

Location: The location is fantastic. If you want to venture off the resort, there is many restaurants and night clubs very close by.
We have been to Mexico several times, staying at many different resorts - Secrets Maroma, Secrets Silversands and Secrets Capri - the Grand Park Royale ranks right up with these hotels. The location of the resort is fantastic. You can walk for miles on the beach each direction and in beautiful white sand. The beach was clean and very little seaweed was washed up on shore. The staff at the resort are awesome, friendly, helpful and go above and beyond to keep their guests happy. The entertainment staff are amazing. They do everything they can to get people involved in the activities. The only downfall of our vacation --- too short. Next year we're going for 10 days.

Nice hotel with plenty of beach front real estate.

Pros: Pretty much the whole thing was likeable, but if I have to pick one thing, our villa was the best part of the vacation.
Cons: Nada, great resort, no reason to change anything, it all was fantastic.
Location: Beach, Cancun, Mexican Riviera...use Google, I cannot type out all of the things to do in that region, but Isla Mujeras was a highlight for us.
Great staff and a pleasant resort made for a wonderful stay. You will be asked to sit through a club presentation, pretty standard around the Mayan Riviera. Nice main pool with activities and plenty of loungers (also wait staff if you don't feel like walking to the bar), a good looking infinity pool with swim up bar and a huge piece of Caribbean beach. Food was good. Main restaurant is a buffet style with nightly feature menus and some of the greatest staff in the city. The resort also has a couple of stand alone restaurants (Oriental, Italian etc.) which require dress code, reservations and are open for dinner.

Terrible service

I booked a family trip for 15 people at this hotel. This was the first time that i've experienced such ad service. The last 5 times i have been in cancun, ive never had a problem. hotel checkin lady gave us bad service and seemed annoyed when i had questions about the hotel. i wanted 24 hour room service for my family and thought it was offered the same as my last stay at the other hotels. they did not tell me it was just one time order. room service staff also was not pleasant and seemed annoyed when i was asking questions. before we checked out they charged us 300 because they claimed that we broke thier table. they did not try to inform us charges until we checked out so we had no choice but to pay otherwise we would have missed our flight.

Expected better customer service very dissatisfied

Hard up sell to upgrade to the villas and to set up an appointment to be a club member. Create an experience that sells itself walk the talk my butler was non existent all week the consierge services and front desk employees are manned by people who don't care about their customers or jobs!!!!!!! If you want to stay at a place that knows how to treat all their guest stay at the Le Blanc a 5 star hotel !!!

Personal pool and Roberto saved it.

Cons: No time share sales
Location: Centrally located for everything
We stayed in a master suite. It was large, clean and looked great. The bed was super comfortable. The other furniture was not at all. The bathroom was lovely and large. The patio was large and the personal pool was the best along with Roberto the butler. The staff was polite and did a great job except they kept Turning the fridge temp down. The thermostat had a governor so the room was too warm to really enjoy the fabulous bed. The food lacked choices and was mediocre at best. This is not a particularly good hotel for anyone who has difficulty walking long distances, up down stairs or on uneven surfaces. Worst of all this is a timeshare hotel. You are accosted before you can get to your room and if you decline, they call you the next day. Oh, and the Expedia was a jerk. Didn't want to help because we booked activities online. He rebooked our cancellation after instructed NOT to so he could get the commission.
