beach with strong undertow

This is a beautiful property. The beach is gorgeous and the wait staff could not be more attentive. We were never wanting for a beverage. One downside to the beach is the string undertow. Lifeguards limited swimmers to a small area of the beach and whistled relentlessly for people to come in closer. It was for good reason, we saw them go in a rescue three swimmers that were being pulled by the undertow. Food was very good but a little more seafood would have been nice. We liked the tepanyaki the best and that was the only restaurant that would take reservations. We did wait over an hour one of the nights. I would not return to the spa. My facial was 90 percent massage, with a little scrub and lotion to my face. My daughter and I both had facials and both were mostly massage.... if you like massage , maybe you would like this but I wanted a facial. Also paid for four shellac manicures three of the four peeled off within 24 hours. One of them had four nails with the shellac fall off. We went and showed them the one that was the worst, they scheduled my daughter to come back the next day and then left my daughter waiting for 30 minutes and then told her to wait another 10..... I would skip the spa and enjoy the beach or pool. Save your money.

Excellent all inclusive. Fabulous staff.

Pros: Everything. Make sure you use your room credits and visit the dolphins.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: It's centrally located and close to everything. It also has amazing security in and out of the property
Everything was great. The food, the pool, the ocean, the room, the view, the entertainment, the music (which got better selection after i think they read my initial techie while still there) I wanted 70's music lol. But above all else was the amazing staff and service. We had only good experience with Juanjo, Elias, Marlene, Patty, the check in guy, the taco lady who's name tag said Greene on it. The staff and service and appropriate friendliness never rude nor introduce was amazing!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Would fine a different hotel to stay at

Went for our honeymoon, our bathtub had Brown stuff and hair stuck to the side, house keeping didn't clean it so we didn't get use of the bathtub. They painted the room next door and the fumes in our room were horrible. We called and front desk said they couldn't find anything even tho the people in the hallway were even complaining. My wife's pillow had mold on it, called to complain and move rooms they only had one double bed available (on our honeymoon) Horrible experience in cancun this time staying at hard rock. Find a different hotel

Location: Very close to the nightlife action but you dont have to leave the hotel at all
It is a great place. good location, they treat you very well. Too much fun, too much dancing, too much food and too much to drink, has a blast!

The Best Birthday Ever!

Pros: The number one thing that make this hotel rock is the employees! Every employee that we encountered was so pleasant and helpful.
Cons: I can't think of a single thing that could be improved at Hard Rock Cancun.
Location: This is the first time in all of my years of travel that my husband and I stayed on the resort property without leaving. We were having so much fun.
How do I began to tell the story of how great your vacation can be if you stay here? We checked out of another hotel in Cancun after one night. Thank goodness Hard Rock Cancun was able to accommodate us with only an hour notice. This place is beautiful. The room was perfect. This is a foodie's paradise. There was delicious food everywhere. The lobby was so pretty and welcoming. This is the first all inclusive hotel that I have stayed at that you can get an excellent meal at 3:00 am. No cold bologna sandwiches or mystery meat. The beach was also perfect with plenty of room. The whole atmosphere is wonderful. The staff goes out of their way too make each guest feel important. Oh and the bed....perfect! I saw whole families here from the grandparents to toddlers, having a wonderful time. I also saw a wedding while I was here that was so beautiful. If your planning a destination wedding.....you must have it here. Also, this is the first all inclusive that had all the top shelf liquors, beers etc.. No watered down drinks or angry bartenders. Listen this is my 3rd visit to Cancun but this is my most memorable vacation. The buffet at The Market was sooo good for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The grill chefs grilled my steaks to a juicy medium rare heaven. The brick oven pizza at Pizzeto is a must. The main bar Smash bar in the lobby was so alive with activity, music, food, wine, big comfy chairs and sofas, pool table, lots and lots of flat screens, laughter and happiness.
