Nice hotel on the beach

We stayed at this hotel for one night. It was our first night. The ambiance was very nice and the staff was friendly and warm. The room was big and the view from the balcony was breathtaking. However, the bathroom had paint crack and could use an update.

EL PERSONAL DE LA RECEPCION DEL HOTEL DIJO QUE LA FACTURA ME LA DARIA EXPEDIA, EXPEDIA, POR VIA TELEFONICA, ME ENVIARON UN INFORME DE LOS GASTOS CUBIERTOS Y SE JUSTIFICAN PORQUE ELLOS NO HACEN UN RECIBO FISCAL COMO SE ACOSTUMBRA EN MEXICO PERO AUN EN USA SE ACOSTUMBRA HACER UN INVOICE CUANDO SE SOLICITA PERO NO LO HACEN. ESTO ME DEJA INSATISFECHO Y SOSPECHOSO DE PORQUE NO ENTRAGAN AL MENOS UN INVOICE.

Tienen mucho que mejorar

El hotel a primera vista se ve bien, en la recepción todo está increíble la decoración, iluminación, el bar, el personal es sumamente amable!!! Pero la primera falla es al momento de pagar, ya que sus terminales no sirven y te acompañan a un cajero automático (dentro del hotel) para que retires el monto a pagar de tu tarjeta de crédito; la segunda falla fue en la habitación que me asignaron, estaba sumamente sucia, el piso manchado, el baño sucio, los burós tenían azúcar/arena/cera/polvo, la televisión no servía; la tercera falla es en el restaurante, el cual tiene la carta más limitada que he visto en mi vida para cenar; solo tenía dos opciones una prueba gastronómica o el buffet (el cual se basaba en pizza, ensalada y postres). A mi humilde opinión deben darle un mejor servicio al huésped, deben verificar la limpieza de las habitaciones, que el mobiliario funcione correctamente, y que el restaurante sea eso UN RESTAURANTE y ofrezca diversos platillos para sus comensales.

Upgraded room, beach and breakfast were nice

Other than the maze to get to/ from beach and number of stairs to get to check-in (not an accessible hotel by any means and glad we are both able-bodied), this was a very nice choice of a place to stay. It's beach is really nice, and breakfast was great (made to order omelets a nicety). We upgraded our room to a newly renovated one, with a nice view. The room was very clean and comfortable. There was a live band each night that played until about 10:30 at the beach bar. While we enjoy live music, the band drowned out the ocean/ waves we love to hear while staying beach front... Theres a great little restaurant a block or so away, with authentic local food at reasonable prices. Convenient location.

Hotel Tranquilo y muy acogedor cerca de la playa

Cons: El servicio de lunch-box
Location: Hay un mall cruzando la calle y la actividad nocturna esta a 5 min en camion
Buen servicio, tuvimos un incidente con la tele nos la cambiaron sin previo aviso. Y el día que pedimos "lunch-box" por que salíamos de excursión se tomaron mucho tiempo en entregárnoslo y estaba muy austero

Decepcionante, buena ubicación, mala habitación

Desde la recepción nos trataron mal al decir no que habíamos comprado una habitación barata y que era muy chica, lo cual es cierto, pero peor aún el mobiliario de tan mala calidad y antiguo, ubicada en una zona rinconada del hotel, muy malo para lo que se pagó. Solicitamos servicio de despertador y nunca nos levantaron

Worst experience ever with NYX hotel

This is my worst travel experience ever. I booked NYX through Expedia, which I used for my travel all the time. I searched on Expedia, always searching for one room one night rate. The price showing up should be for one ROOM/night. I never realized when searching hotels, I need to search by how many person. I got the rate for NYX in cancun, paid it on Expedia, in the process, it never mentioned it is for one person rate. When I got to NYX, the front desk told me the confirmation is one person only, my 14 year old son can't stay with me in one room. I had to pay full inclusive price for him to stay with me in the one bed room. It was after 10pm in Mexico, my phone didn't work. I had to book another hotel for him to stay. This totally broke my trust with Expedia, I felt trapped by both Expedia and NYX hotel, I had to pay the room twice basically just for two person one room with one bed.
