Agréable bonne situation

Chambre correcte sans plus. Très bien situé et piscine avec vue mer superbe. Mais petit déjeuner très décevant accueil indifférent et wifi insuffisant.

It could use a little revamp

Posted May 26, 2015 on Hotels
The hotel it's pretty nice (beautiful outdoor area, pool, ocean view) but the rooms could use a little TLC... Our bedroom wasn't as clean as we expected and for the rate they charge they should add other toiletries (conditioner, body lotion etc...). They include continental breakfast in their rates, unfortunately, breakfast offering wasn't consistent through our stay.

Great Location

Posted May 23, 2015
Rooms are clean but need updating. Very private. Front Desk Staff does not provide much extra information unless you ask. Pool area is nice. Excellent location-walking distance to everything on North end of island. If you are looking for amenities this is not for you, but if looking to relax and be close to restaurants and North Beach at a reasonable price then this is perfect.

Characterful hotel near the beach

Posted May 17, 2015
Pros: Staff were friendly and the location was good. Some decorative touches around the building (shells, driftwood, etc) gave it more character. Nice pool.
Cons: Breakfast is included but a shame there weren't more Mexican elements. My room was next to the lobby & breakfast room & locks didn't seem very secure.
Location: 5-10 minutes walk from Playa Norte (best beach) or into 'town'. Isla Mujeres is small so you can walk most places, or take a taxi/rent a golf buggy.
I had read that Playa Norte was the best beach on Isla Mujeres, and booked this hotel because it was close - about five to ten minutes' walk. It also has a small beach of its own - a bit rockier, but still pretty, and a nice pool overlooking the ocean. My standard room was fairly small (though two double beds) but had a nice terrace with a hammock overlooking the pool and the beach. The king rooms on the upper floors have balconies with hot tubs.

Nice Hotel

Posted Apr 20, 2015 on Hotels
The hotel was very nice and had a great pool area. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, the rooms were clean, everything worked, and it was a great location. The breakfast was not much to speak of, but we weren't there for the food. For the price, it was a great deal and I would stay there again for sure.

Beach getaway

Posted Mar 31, 2015
Pros: Location, location, location
Cons: Enforce the non smoking to include balconies and pool beach area. It would be nice if breakfast included some yogurt.
Location: Shopping, eating, sight seeing
This little boutique hotel is located on a quiet out o the way beach, far enough from down that you feel at peace but near enough that you can walk to the hassle and bustle of hidalgo in 5 minutes? Small and quiet, each room with a balcony overlooking the ocean.

Nice hotel right on the beach

Posted Jan 20, 2015
Pros: Great location. Great outdoor pool and beach area.
Cons: The rooms are very servicable but could be updated a bit.
Location: Great location. Close to one of the best beaches in the world and right by a great shopping.
This hotel is a great place to stay. The rooms are in need of a little updating but the pool and beach area are great. You are a very easy walk away from North Beach and the main restaurant and shopping area. We will stay here again.

Location, location, location

Posted Jan 18, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Update and freshen-up rooms
The deciding factor when booking a hotel came down to location: quiet, off the beaten path yet not too far from it, with a beautiful ocean-front setting. Fabulous. The hotel itself was adequate for my needs. It was essentially clean, but worn and rather dingy. Nothing glamorous here! The airconditioner worked well, but was quite loud. Gaps in the door framing and window screens allow biting bugs to enter with ease. The pool and surrounding area was lovely, but the pool itself was not heated. The hotel staff was approachable and helpful. Breakfast was simple and the coffee was excellent. Not a hotel for the traveller who wants luxury, room service, and a pool-side bar. A great base for those who want to explore the island & surrounding waters by day, and relax ocean-side at the day's end.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. The view from the room is postcard-perfect! Walking distance to town. Great continental breakfast. Beautiful pool. Highly recommend it!
