Would be 5 star if it was air conditioned

The service in this hotel was amazing. The General Manager was a personable pleasure to encounter. They kept the property clean 24 hrs a day, including outdoor areas. I had a mishap with room service, and the supervisor of "Spice" handled it immediately. I would rate 5 stars all the way.
However, the resort common areas were extremely hot. The outdoor lobby was very beautiful and most resorts are designed this way. However, the heat in Cancun certainly trumps design. There should have been better air flow in the lobby and entertainment rotunda. We didn't participate in the night time entertainment for this reason.
Also, the room never cooled below 75 degrees, even at night. Management did their best to try and accommodate by locating a cooler suite, but they all averaged the same temperature. He stated that the temperature remains btwn 74-75 degrees in all of the rooms.
I would still come back to this resort because of the service, cleanliness and most of the food. But, I would only come during the cooler months.
