Worst Hotel Experience Ever

This hotel has the worst customer service, and treats their guests with disrespect and rudeness. The reception was most unhelpful and unprofessional, and made very rude jokes about two men sharing a room. I have never been so offended.

Clean but...

Pros: Clean. Next to a convenience store. Taco place next to the convenience store was so great.
Cons: Noise. noise. noise.
Location: You've gotta try the taco place next to the convenience store.
Good location. Clean room. But we heard our neighbor's voice as if they were in our room... And there was no bath towel in our room. Of course they brought them to our room after we called them though.

Some Problems in the room

Pros: In basement of hotel they have a very good indoor parking.
Cons: Communication, Customer service.
Location: Hotel is very close to a big shopping mall and some restaurants.
In first glance, Room was clean and everything was fine, but I find their refrigerator is not cold enough and there was no warm water in lavatory. I called them more than five times, but no body came to fix. Next day after talking with anger they send a kid but he could not fix issue, finally on third day they fix warm water problem (refrigerator still was not cold!) , but too late for us.

Room was good but run down everywhere else especially the pool and lobby/breakfast

good location, nice and clean room

Pros: cleanliness and location
pretty good. staff was nice but one of them ignored or forgot about my request to fix the refrigerator in my room. Got back and found all the drink were warm and the ice cream melted. Overall, the staffs were friendly and very helpful.

Good hotel near beach transportation

Pros: I was expecting a "continental breakfast" as is typical of hotel chains in the US but was pleasantly surprised by La Quinta's version.
Cons: More towels, better English from desk personel.
Location: If your up to walking distances of a half mile or a little more you stroll to the Bull ring, the mall of the Americas, Walmart, Parque de las palapas,
A nice choice for those not interested in a hotel zone AI. Bus transportation to the many hotel zone beaches is a breeze; its about a 2 block walk to the stop to get a R1 or R2. We never waited more than 5 min. for one, they're cheap and you can usually flag them down like a cab.

Very loud A.C. and an unexplained charge

The room we stayed in had a very loud air conditioner, it is disturbing enough to disturb our sleep. Also, at the time of checkout I wasn't told about any charges, but my credit card has a charge from LQ hotel. I will be glad if the hotel can help me figure out what the charge is for.

Nice hotel as a layover

We stayed at this hotel as a layover for our flight back to Canada from Tulum. Cab fair to the airport is around 400 pesos. We got a private van for the 5 of us plus luggage for 800 pesos. This hotel is close to Los Americas mall which was worth seeing. Room and staff were great. I would definitely stay here again.
