decepcion de hotel

Posted Aug 22, 2015

Nice, friendly

Posted Jul 13, 2015
Pros: Staff were friendly and so good to quickly assist us with any questions or concerns.
Cons: Need handicap accessibility into hot tub.
Location: close to shopping
Good experience overall. My Spanish is not good so any concerns we went to the front desk and the young ladies were proficient in English and quickly assisted us. Friendly staff. Small pool but was very clean and was never real busy. They also had a wonderful hot tub. The continental breakfast always had fresh fruit , large assortment of breads, waffles and eggs along with different items. I tried an egg dish they had one morning that had cactus in it and turned out to be a favorite.

Nice place to stay near shopping mall

We stopped in this hotel on the night before we went home. Nice clean hotel and friendly staff. Price was great at $75 a night. 20 minutes and 400 pesos from the airport made the transfer easy. Would stay again

The breakfast was ok , it was edible the room was clean daily 👍🏼the cleaning staff and the Waiters were really nice👏🏼 ,some of the front desk staff can use more training on there attitude 👎🏼. We didn't stay much at the hotel we had daily schedule excursions . But for dinner we ate at a restaurant that was next to all XOXO and had there Al Pastor it was awesome and affordable for the whole family .

Great alternative to beach hotels

Posted Jul 8, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff that speaks English very well. Clean, comfortable rooms. Good, reasonably priced restaurant downstairs.
Cons: Not much. My bathroom looked a bit old/dated, and the shower tiles were showing signs of age.
Location: I enjoyed the very short ride to the ADO bus terminal (I believe the hotel shuttle would drive there, but I didn't ask).
I stayed at the Holiday Inn on the beach for one night with my family since I have Platinum status with that chain, but could not have been more disappointed. I cancelled my next night at the Holiday Inn and reserved at the La Quinta instead. It was far more convenient in terms of transportation (closer to airport, ADO bus terminal), and I also appreciated that the staff spoke English very well, was very friendly, charged the correct amount, didn't beg for tips, and that the rooms were comfortable and clean. (All in contrast to the Holiday Inn.) One minor issue was that there were no towels in my room, but after a call down to the front desk, someone arrived with fresh towels in about a minute. If I return to Cancun, I would be happy to stay at the La Quinta again.
